Cramer said he is not a Teva Pharmaceutical Industries Limited (NYSE: <a class="ticker" href="https://www.benzinga.com/stock/teva#NYSE">TEVA</a>) guy.
Price Action: Shares of Teva gained 4.1% to close at $11.33, while Arm Holdings fell 2% to $67.05 on Friday. TKO fell 0.3% to settle at $78.63, while GE HealthCare gained 0.1% to $76.62 during Friday&rsquo;s session. Coherent shares gained 1.4% to settle at $41.17, while Micron rose 0.9% to close at $83.45 on Friday. Bitfarms shares fell 7.2%, while Ramaco Resources fell 1.2%. ImmunoGen shares gained 0.4%, while AbbVie gained 0.4% on Friday. Shares of Realty Income rose 0.4% to close at $57.92 during Friday&rsquo;s session.

<h2 class="wp-block-heading">What Happened To Arm Shares Monday?</h2>
Bernstein Research recently initiated coverage of Arm with an Underperform rating and a rather gloomy $46 price target per share. Their rationale? 
Arm might be losing its edge in the artificial intelligence frenzy, with over 60% of its revenues tied to mobile and consumer markets, as Barron&#8217;s <a href="https://www.barrons.com/articles/arm-holdings-stock-price-ipo-sell-buy-56bde6f0">reported</a> Monday. 
There&#8217;s an unexpected David challenging this Goliath – the open-source RISC-V chip architecture. Manufacturers can use it for free, evading those hefty royalty fees. 
Sound like déjà vu? Think of Linux in the operating system arena. Sara Russo, the analyst responsible for the rating, cautions that RISC-V is rapidly garnering trust as a substitute for both x86 and Arm in specific applications.
But that&#8217;s not all. 
<h2 class="wp-block-heading">China Is A Sword of Damocles For Arm</h2>
China, a double-edged sword for many tech giants, accounts for 24% of Arm&#8217;s revenue. 
Rising tensions between Washington and Beijing, coupled with China&#8217;s penchant for non-Western tech, could threaten Arm&#8217;s long-term growth.

From IPO High To Stock Slide: Arm Holdings' Rollercoaster Ride Begins With Bearish Analyst Call

SoftBank Group Corp (OTC: <a class="ticker" href="/stock/sftbf#OTC">SFTBF</a>)&rsquo;s founder and CEO Masayoshi Son plans to make his <a href="https://www.bloomberg.com/news/articles/2017-05-21/softbank-s-son-chases-boyhood-dreams-with-100-billion-fund">childhood dreams</a> come true after securing an unparalleled $92 billion in funding for his vision fund.
<a href="https://www.bloomberg.com/news/articles/2017-05-20/japan-s-softbank-says-93-billion-committed-to-technology-fund">On Monday</a>, SoftBank officially closed the first round of its investment funding, securing investments from Saudi Arabia, Abu Dhabi, Apple Inc. (NASDAQ: <a class="ticker" href="/stock/aapl#NASDAQ">AAPL</a>) and QUALCOMM, Inc. (NASDAQ: <a class="ticker" href="/stock/qcom#NASDAQ">QCOM</a>). The vision fund is focused on the future of artificial intelligence and the integration between humans and computers.
<h3>The Importance Of AI</h3>
AI brings together a multitude of different technologies that enables machines to act like and learn from humans.
Recently, according to a report from <a href="https://www.accenture.com/us-en/insight-artificial-intelligence-future-growth">Accenture</a>, there has been a decline in the investment needed to propel production that would enable AI to spur economic growth. However, Son&rsquo;s fund demonstrates that individuals are still looking to invest in this undeveloped industry full of endless possibilities.
&ldquo;AI could double annual economic growth rates in 2035 by changing the nature of work and creating a new relationship between man and machine,&rdquo; according to Accenture&rsquo;s report.
<h3>The $100 Billion Investment Fund</h3>
Currently, the private equity industry is larger than ever, and PE funds are holding a record amount cash according to a research report from <a href="https://www.preqin.com/docs/samples/2017-Preqin-Global-Private_Equity-and-Venture-Capital-Report-Sample-Pages.pdf">Preqin</a>. These firms were holding $820 billion in dry powder at the end of 2016, up from $755 billion at the end of 2015.
Felicio Egidio, Preqin&rsquo;s head of venture capital, told <a href="http://washpost.bloomberg.com/Story?docId=1376-ONGAI46KLVR501-5U7GFQ4429SBOTJB4SFQL9I0QT">Bloomberg</a>, &ldquo;There is already a tremendous amount of dry powder out there. Investment opportunities are getting harder and harder to come by.&rdquo;
Additionally, as oil prices are falling, Saudi Arabia is looking to diversify its investments beyond oil. Thus, the country decided to invest a reported $45 billion in AI in Son&#39;s fund.
It is also easy to see with the ongoing race to build and develop autonomous vehicles, a multibillion-dollar industry, SoftBank will now be able to be a very key player in this race. SoftBank has already invested over $1 billion in Didi Chuxing (a major ride-sharing company in China), hoping to own a large piece of the driverless world.
<h3>Why Investors Trust Son</h3>
Son has been proclaimed as one of the craziest yet brightest individuals in the world, as he envisions a society where the average human life expectancy exceeds 200 years.
Son has spent his entire life working to defy the impossible and made his first million before he was even 16 years old.
While he hasn&rsquo;t always been a winner, as he lost nearly $70 billion investing during the internet bubble, his vision has never been clouded. Since the loss, he has continued to invest and cut huge deals. Most recently, he bought chip designer Arm Holdings plc (ADR) for $32 billion.
In his keynote at <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eONE2_F7gmM">ARM TechCon in 2016</a>, Son said, &ldquo;The biggest theme in my view is the Singularity. For that vision, I am exercising that strategy. $100 billion is an interesting size of ammunition. In my view, that is the beginning. My passion is bigger than many people think.&rdquo;
<h3>What Makes Vision Fund So Unique?</h3>
Son&rsquo;s investment fund presents him with endless opportunities to develop AI, David Brophy, a finance professor and the director of the University of Michigan&rsquo;s Office for the Study of Private Equity Finance told <a href="https://www.bloomberg.com/news/articles/2017-05-21/softbank-s-son-chases-boyhood-dreams-with-100-billion-fund">Bloomberg</a>. The billions of dollars will provide him with access and opportunities to keep funding his projects and form key partnerships.
&ldquo;You can walk in with muscle that no one else has. I wouldn&rsquo;t focus too much on what we see in the rear-view mirror. It&rsquo;s more important to look ahead,&rdquo; <a href="https://www.bloomberg.com/news/articles/2017-05-21/softbank-s-son-chases-boyhood-dreams-with-100-billion-fund">said Brophy</a>.
According to Brophy, Son now has the capability to invest loads of capital into AI. This will inflate valuations which will drive out competitors, who will now no longer be able to afford to invest in AI.
SoftBank&rsquo;s ability to secure funding illustrates that technology investors finally believe in AI and expect it to be fully integrated into our lives soon. Son concluded his keynote by stating, &ldquo;In the next 30 years, AI will overtake human intelligence.&quot;

The Wall Street Journal reported that Verizon Communications Inc. (NYSE: <a class="ticker" href="/stock/vz#NYSE">VZ</a>) has agreed to pay ~$5B for the core business of Yahoo! Inc. (NASDAQ: <a class="ticker" href="/stock/yhoo#NASDAQ">YHOO</a>), along with some real estate. SunTrust Robinson Humphrey&rsquo;s Robert S. Peck maintained a Neutral rating on Yahoo, with a price target of $42.

	Verizon had been a frontrunner in the acquisition of Yahoo&rsquo;s core business, since it would be able to extract the maximum synergies, analyst Robert Peck noted. He added that there is unlikely to be significant regulatory hurdles, and the transaction could close in the back half of 2016.

	What Next?</h3>

	Peck expects Yahoo to sell or distribute the Yahoo Japan shares, which could be more complicated than was earlier anticipated. There are speculations of SoftBank Group Corp (OTCMKTS: SFTBF) being interested in Yahoo Japan&rsquo;s shares.

Bob Peck Says Yahoo Holders Should 'Sell The News'

On Thursday, Mastercard Inc (NYSE: <a class="ticker" href="/stock/ma#NYSE">MA</a>) reported a purchase of a 92.4 percent stake in in British ATM operator and automated clearing house, Vocalink for $920 million (£869 million). The purchase came after SoftBank Group Corp (OTC: <a class="ticker" href="/stock/sftby#OTC">SFTBY</a>) (OTC: <a class="ticker" href="/stock/sftbf#OTC">SFTBF</a>) had made a £24.3 billion offer for Cambridge chip designer ARM Holdings plc (ADR) (NASDAQ: <a class="ticker" href="/stock/armh#NASDAQ">ARMH</a>).
Baird's David Koning commented on the Mastercard's purchases' impact on the company.
<h3>Expanding To Electronic Payments</h3>
The Baird analyst favored the merger as a way to expand Mastercard's exposure to electronic payments. "We like that the acquisition is ~2.5 percent accretive to total company revenue and provides MA with additional means to touch electronic payments," stated Koning. The analyst viewed the transaction to be about $0.05 dilutive to annual earnings per share (about 1&ndash;2 percent).
In addition, Koning believed Vocalink's growth rate would not be dilutive to total company growth in the future.

According to Koning, these are the most notable facts about the deal:

</li><li>The analyst believes the deal would be expected to close within three to 12 months.
</li><li>Vocalink's 2015 EBITDA was $102 million representing about 43 percent margin.
</li><li>"Beyond the next two years, management expects Vocalink to grow at a similar rate as the total company, as Vocalink's capabilities are expanded."</li></ul>
The analyst maintains Mastercard's Outperform rating and $115.00 price target.
At the time of writing, Mastercard traded at $92.99, up 0.57 percent Friday.

Baird Reviews Mastercard's $920 Million Vocalink Stake Purchase

Joy Global Inc. (NYSE: <a class="ticker" href="/stock/joy#NYSE">JOY</a>) announced Thursday morning it has agreed to sell itself to Komatsu America Corp, a subsidiary of Japan-based Komatsu Ltd (ADR) (OTC: <a class="ticker" href="/stock/kmtuy#OTC">KMTUY</a>), for $3.7 billion, or $28.30 per share.
The price tag on the deal implies a 48 percent premium to the volume weighted average closing price of Joy Global's stock over the past 90 trading days.
The deal earned the praise of CNBC's Jim Cramer. During his daily <a href="http://video.cnbc.com/gallery/?video=3000536322">"The Mad Dash" segment on Thursday,</a> Cramer suggested that the business combination is a "remarkable deal," especially when factoring in Joy Global's business is coal and copper mining equipment.
"Most importantly, the reason why this company exists is they have maintenance contracts," Cramer expanded. "It's just a fabulous book of business for maintenance &mdash; and that has supported them for a very long time."

While negotiations took place, SoftBank increased its buyout offer at least three times.
Meanwhile, Son was also having discussions with the U.K.'s new Prime Minister, Theresa May, to assure the government that its headquarters and management team will remain in Cambridge. He also promised to double the employee headcount from around 4,000 over the next five years.
The Prime Minister's Office concluded the deal is "very much in the national interest" and received the government's blessings.
"Britain is open for business &mdash; and open to foreign investment," Chancellor of the Exchequer (equivalent title to Minister of Treasury or Finance) Philip Hammond was quoted by Bloomberg as saying. "SoftBank's decision confirms that Britain remains one of the most attractive destinations globally for investors to create jobs and wealth."

	The Offer: 
	SoftBank Group Corp. (OTC: <a class="ticker" href="/stock/sftby#OTC">SFTBY</a>) and ARM Holdings plc (NASDAQ: <a class="ticker" href="/stock/armh#NASDAQ">ARMH</a>) announced Monday, that they have reached agreement on the terms of a recommended all cash by SoftBank of 1,700 pence per UK share or approximately $67.26 per U.S. ADR. The consideration values the entire existing issued and to be issued share capital of ARM at approximately &pound;24.3 billion (approximately $32 billion).

	ARM Holdings closed at $66.17 on Monday, up 40.55%.

	Hearing Dealreporter Says Tronox May Explore Sale

	The Rumor: 
	Shares of Tronox (NASDAQ: <a class="ticker" href="/stock/trox#NASDAQ">TROX</a>) rose Monday on a report from DealReporter that the company was exploring a sale. Tronox did not respond to a request for comment.

	Tronox closed at $7.02 on Monday, up 4.78%.

	Smith &amp; Wesson Reports Battenfeld Technologies Unit to Buy Taylor Brands for $85M in Cash

	The Deal: 
	On July 15, 2016, Smith &amp; Wesson (NYSE: <a class="ticker" href="/stock/swhc#NYSE">SWHC</a>) subsidiary, BTI Tools entered into an asset purchase agreement with Taylor Brands to acquire substantially all of the assets of Taylor for $85 million in cash. The Transaction is expected to close in August.

	Smith &amp; Wesson closed Monday at $28.78, up 1.52%.

	Hearing Unconfirmed Takeover Chatter in Hartford Financial Involving Travelers

	The Rumor: 
	Shares of Hartford Financial (NYSE: <a class="ticker" href="/stock/hig#NYSE">HIG</a>) spiked to the high of the day of $44.39, following unconfirmed market chatter of a potential bid from Travelers Companies (NYSE: <a class="ticker" href="/stock/trv#NYSE">TRV</a>). A similar report surfaced in August 2015.

However, the 160,000 net adds seen in the U.S. and 1.52 million net adds witnessed overseas disappointed investors, as management had guided for 500,000 and two million net adds, respectively.

Second quarter EPS of $0.97 and revenue of $1.69 billion beat analysts&rsquo; consensus by $0.02 and $10 million, respectively.

	Finally,&nbsp; EMC Corporation (NYSE: <a class="ticker" href="/stock/emc#NYSE">EMC</a>) traded up about 1.1 percent. The large cap tech company posted second quarter EPS of $0.45, $0.03 above the Street&rsquo;s consensus, and revenue of $6 billion, in line with estimates.
