Cynically, though, this development may provide an upward catalyst for CrowdStrike Holdings Inc (NASDAQ:<a class="ticker" href="https://www.benzinga.com/stock/CRWD#NASDAQ">CRWD</a>). A cybersecurity specialist, CrowdStrike has been thrust into the spotlight amid an anticipated retaliatory response by Iran. As such, a clear incentive exists among government and private institutions to bolster digital defenses, thus lifting CRWD stock.
On Saturday night, Trump declared <a href="https://www.benzinga.com/news/politics/25/06/46043305/donald-trump-announces-spectacular-military-success-as-us-strikes-key-iranian-nuclear-sites">successful strikes on three crucial Iranian nuclear sites</a>, labeling the operation a "spectacular military success." During an address to the nation, the president stated that U.S. forces' main objective was to destroy Iran's nuclear enrichment capacity, criticizing its government as the "world's number one state sponsor of terror."
However, the contentious decision to bomb Iran has <a href="https://www.npr.org/2025/06/20/nx-s1-5439184/maga-divide-trump-strike-iran">divided</a> Trump's support among his otherwise fiercely loyal base. On one hand, political supporters praised the decision to attack a longtime adversary and for supporting Israel. On the other end, notable proponents, such as former Fox News host Tucker Carlson, have argued that Trump is turning his back on his America First principles.
Worryingly, the U.S. could be sucked into another protracted military campaign in the Middle East, a matter that is deeply <a href="https://time.com/6590408/us-biden-middle-east-war/">unpopular</a> for the American public. What's more, Iran is likely to <a href="https://apnews.com/article/israel-iran-attacks-retaliation-targets-mideast-wars-63ccbe43d83cf3cc7faf3fc4b37e6333">retaliate</a>, which may threaten servicemembers stationed in the region. Perhaps most distressingly, Iran could activate sleeper cells to launch <a href="https://www.nbcnews.com/nightly-news/video/u-s-officials-iran-threatened-terror-attacks-inside-u-s-242058821681">terror</a> attacks in the U.S.
Among the asymmetric warfare tools of Iran is its capacity to initiate cyberattacks. Last year, Alphabet Inc. (NASDAQ:<a class="ticker" href="https://www.benzinga.com/stock/GOOG#NASDAQ">GOOG</a>, NASDAQ:<a class="ticker" href="https://www.benzinga.com/stock/GOOGL#NASDAQ">GOOGL</a>) subsidiary Google confirmed that the Islamic nation's Revolutionary Guard <a href="https://www.benzinga.com/news/24/08/40387430/google-confirms-iranian-hackers-linked-to-revolutionary-guard-targeted-trump-biden-and-harris-campai">launched a series of cyberattacks</a> targeting the political campaigns of Trump, former President Joe Biden and former Vice President Kamala Harris.
With the threat level elevated, both government agencies and private enterprises have every incentive to bolster their digital defenses. By logical deduction, the accelerated demand could lift CRWD stock.
<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Using Statistical Data To Pinpoint A Strategy For CRWD Stock</h2>
As compelling as the fundamental narrative may be for CRWD stock, it still lacks in the area of specificity. For traders (particularly those who focus on options), they live in the world of probabilities. To implement conditional frameworks requires that the measurement metric governing the data speak a unified language. This is the reason why market breadth — or sequences of accumulative and distributive sessions — represents a valuable tool. As a first-order principle (meaning that it cannot be mathematically reduced), market breadth's binary nature facilitates categorization and quantification, which then lends itself to sensible probabilistic analysis.
As it relates to CRWD stock, its price action over the past two months can be converted as a "6-4-U" sequence: six up weeks, four down weeks, with a net positive trajectory across the 10-week period. While this admittedly compresses the dynamic magnitude profile of CRWD into a binary code, the benefit is that this sequence can be catalogued to determine likely forward outcomes.

Based on past empirical data, in 61.9% of cases when the 6-4-U sequence flashes, the following week's price action results in upside, with a median return of 4.04%. Should the bulls maintain control of the market for a second week, past analogs suggest that CRWD stock could be due for a nearly 1% upside move.
Based on Friday's close of $476.30, CRWD may run close to $500 over the next two to three weeks. Given the fundamental catalyst, the security just might eclipse this psychological threshold.
<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Optimistic But Rational Trades To Consider</h2>
Based on the market intelligence above, aggressive traders may consider the 495/500 bull call spread expiring July 11. This transaction involves buying the $495 call and simultaneously selling the $500 call, for a net debit paid of $275. Should CRWD stock rise through the short strike price ($500) at expiration, the maximum reward is $225, a payout of nearly 82%.
Those who want to add an extra week to their timeline may consider the 490/500 bull spread expiring July 18. However, the drawback here is that the spread is considerably more expensive, requiring a net debit of $515. Still, the reward if CRWD stock hits the short strike price at expiration is $485, a payout of over 94%.
In both cases, the common driver is the implied shift in sentiment regime that the 6-4-U sequence generates. As a baseline, the chance that CRWD stock rises on any given week is 55.87%, which is a strong upward bias. But the aforementioned sequence amplifies this bullish edge, further incentivizing a debit-based strategy for those already prone to risk-taking.

But according to <a href="https://www.benzinga.com/personal-finance/management/25/06/45975687/25000-monthly-care-costs-suze-orman-shows-how-long-term-care-insurance-can-protect-your-savings">Suze Orman</a>, personal finance expert and host of the "Women &amp; Money" podcast, not all fixed-income investments offer the same benefits.

<h2 class="wp-block-heading">What Is a GIC?</h2>
A <a href="https://www.benzinga.com/money/best-investments-with-guaranteed-returns">GIC</a> is a savings product commonly offered by Canadian banks and financial institutions, which are available in the U.S as well. When you invest in a GIC, you&#8217;re lending the bank your money for a set period — often one to five years. In return, you're promised a guaranteed interest rate and the full return of your original investment when the term ends.
"You&#8217;re essentially lending a bank or a financial institution money for a fixed period of time," Orman explained. The appeal is the safety. GICs are low-risk, and in Canada, they're generally insured up to $100,000.
But that safety comes at a cost.
<h2 class="wp-block-heading">GICs Offer Lower Returns and Less Flexibility</h2>
Orman didn't mince words about the downside. "You generally get a lower return in comparison to a bond," she said. While the return is guaranteed, it's often less than what you could earn with other fixed-income investments.

Another limitation is liquidity. Most GICs lock in your funds until the end of the term. If you need to access your money early, you may face penalties or restrictions.
"You usually don't get your interest rate until it matures," Orman said. "It&#8217;s not like a bond that if interest rates go down, the value of the bond goes up, that you can easily cash out of."
<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Why Suze Orman Favors Bonds</h2>
Orman prefers bonds for one key reason: flexibility. "You can buy and sell them any time you want," she said. <a href="https://www.benzinga.com/markets/bonds/25/05/45699780/catastrophe-bonds-surge-diversify-your-portfolio-with-alternative-investments">Bonds</a> may also offer higher interest rates than GICs, depending on market conditions and the type of bond.
And there&#8217;s potential for added value. If the value of the bond increases, investors could potentially sell the bond at a profit before maturity.
However, it&#8217;s worth noting that bonds do carry some risk. Their value can fluctuate with interest rate changes, and unlike GICs, they&#8217;re not insured.

Ultimately, Orman acknowledged that the right choice depends on your goals. "If you like that your principal is protected, you like the guaranteed return… then just stick with your GICs," she said.
For investors who prioritize security over growth, GICs might still be a solid choice. But for those looking for more flexibility and potentially higher returns, bonds could be worth a closer look.

'You Generally Get A Lower Return With A Guaranteed Investment Certificate In Comparison To A Bond' – Suze Orman Shares Her Preference

Wolfspeed Inc. (NYSE:<a class="ticker" href="https://www.benzinga.com/stock/WOLF#NYSE">WOLF</a>) shares plunged over 30% on Monday following reports suggesting the company plans <a href="https://www.benzinga.com/trading-ideas/movers/25/06/46004888/whats-going-on-with-wolfspeed-shares-today">to file for bankruptcy by July 1</a>.
What To Know: According to<a href="https://www.bloomberg.com/news/articles/2025-06-23/wolfspeed-plans-bankruptcy-after-clinching-deal-with-creditors"> Bloomberg</a>, the semiconductor manufacturer reached a restructuring support agreement with key creditors, including Renesas Electronics, to reduce its $6.6 billion debt burden by about $4.6 billion. The deal also aims to cut Wolfspeed's annual interest expenses by 60% and give control of the company to convertible noteholders.
The bankruptcy plan, which has been in the works since at least May, comes as Wolfspeed grapples with stalled government funding and policy shifts under the Trump administration. 
Although the company previously secured a $750 million award from the CHIPS and Science Act to support its production expansion, it has only received partial funding and remains locked in negotiations with federal officials.
Under the proposed restructuring, Wolfspeed shareholders would retain up to 5% ownership of the reorganized company. The deal includes Renesas converting a $2.1 billion deposit into convertible notes, equity and warrants. 
In addition, certain existing noteholders have committed to providing $275 million in new second-lien convertible bonds. Wolfspeed expects to emerge from bankruptcy by the end of the third quarter, pending court approval.

What's Going On With Wolfspeed Shares Today?

Moelis shares are trading higher after Morgan Stanley upgraded the stock from Underweight to Overweight and raised its price target from $42 to $68.

Kroger Co (NYSE:<a class="ticker" href="https://www.benzinga.com/stock/KR#NYSE">KR</a>) shares are trading higher by 2.39% to $73.69 Monday afternoon. The company last week reported stronger-than-expected first-quarter <a href="https://www.benzinga.com/markets/earnings/25/06/46030486/grocery-giant-kroger-cfo-raises-identical-sales-outlook-but-maintains-caution-due-to-tariff-uncertainty">earnings</a>. The company also received a number of analyst rating <a href="https://www.benzinga.com/quote/KR/analyst-ratings">updates</a> following the earnings print.
What To Know: Adjusted EPS came in at $1.49, topping the $1.46 consensus estimate, while identical sales excluding fuel rose 3.2%, exceeding projections despite ongoing consumer spending headwinds.
Quarterly revenue <a href="https://www.benzinga.com/analyst-stock-ratings/analyst-color/25/06/46054132/kroger-posts-q1-beat-analyst-raises-price-target-to-reflect-continued-growth-market-share-gains">totaled</a> $45.12 billion, slightly below expectations, but gross margin improved to 23% from 22% a year ago, aided by the sale of Kroger Specialty Pharmacy and lower supply chain costs.
CFO David Kennerley noted strong momentum, prompting Kroger to raise its full-year identical sales guidance (ex-fuel) from 2%-3% to 2.25%-3.25%, while maintaining conservative profit projections due to macroeconomic uncertainty.
Telsey Advisory Group analyst Joseph Feldman <a href="https://www.benzinga.com/analyst-stock-ratings/analyst-color/25/06/46054132/kroger-posts-q1-beat-analyst-raises-price-target-to-reflect-continued-growth-market-share-gains">reiterated</a> an Outperform rating and lifted his price target from $73 to $82, citing the company's strong execution, robust loyalty program, digital enhancements and brand strength. Other analysts also boosted their price targets, with Deutsche Bank, UBS, Guggenheim, and Morgan Stanley all raising their views.
Feldman expects continued growth and market share gains through expanded geography, personalized offerings and paid memberships, positioning Kroger well for 2025 and beyond.

"Even the whiff of higher oil prices can send the price of a Bitcoin lower," says Toledano. He points to the direct link between rising energy costs and mining profitability &#8211; a vital backbone of the Bitcoin ecosystem. 
"Higher oil prices raise energy costs, directly impacting Bitcoin mining profitability and network dynamics."
That means when oil flares, Bitcoin miners feel the heat. The cost to produce each BTC rises, potentially setting a higher price floor, but also opening the door to more volatility. That dynamic was on full display this weekend as geopolitical risk sent crude prices higher and Bitcoin re-tested recent lows.

China&#8217;s Ministry of Industry and Information Technology released the catalog, which is considered one of the last regulatory procedures before a vehicle can be deemed ready for sale in the country. The company reportedly plans to launch the model, which is its second SUV model, in September.
Li Auto said the i6 will serve as a mainstream purchasing option and targets buyers considering luxury mid-size SUVs such as the Mercedes-Benz GLC, BMW X3 and Audi Q5. The vehicle is expected to be equipped with Li Auto's AD Max intelligent driving system and powered by an 800 V platform.
