That timing could suit FSG, which is <a href="https://www.nytimes.com/athletic/6244860/2025/04/01/malaga-fsg-deal-liverpool/">rumored</a> to be &#8220;tight with the purse strings.&#8221;
In recent years, FSG has sought outside investors like RedBird Capital to help finance its expansion efforts.
