Viewers watched the longtime shark pair with real-estate titan Barbara Corcoran to offer $250,000 for 20% of Deviled Egg Co., proving the humble picnic side can still hatch serious money. "I definitely love it," Cuban said during the pitch, sealing his final deal with trademark enthusiasm.&nbsp;

Van Buskirk, who relocated to Dallas after a December 2022 breast cancer diagnosis so she could be near family, closed the original Omaha, Nebraska, shop in 2024 and is now in full remission. By the time the duo wheeled onto TV, Deviled Egg Co. had <a href="https://sharktankrecap.com/deviled-egg-co-update-shark-tank-season-16/">tallied nearly $1.3 million</a> in 2024 revenue and was already profitable, Van Buskirk said during her pitch.&nbsp;
The founders asked for $150,000 in exchange for 5% equity, outlining plans to open two grab-and-go outlets and eventually franchise across Texas.&nbsp;

Corcoran spotted synergy with her other food investments and offered $150,000 for 15%.<a href="https://www.benzinga.com/personal-finance/24/09/40714364/survive-anything-kevin-oleary-claims-you-need-5-million-in-savings-heres-how-you-can-reach-that-"> Kevin O'Leary,</a> also known as "Mr. Wonderful," countered with 20%. The on-air haggling ended when Mark Cuban slid into Corcoran's offer, matching her money and bringing the total investment to $250,000 for a combined 20% stake.
Van Buskirk and Wellman cracked grins and accepted on camera, with Van Buskirk shouting "I can't wait to make them so much money." Cuban isn't exactly riding off into retirement. His <a href="https://healthee.com/pr/partnership-mark-cuban-cost-plus-drug-company/">Cost Plus Drug Co.</a> announced fresh distribution partnerships in April, pushing its catalog beyond 2,300 medications and saying transparent pricing has already helped patients save millions on generics.

'I Definitely Love It,' Says Mark Cuban, As He Backs Deviled Egg Startup In His Final 'Shark Tank' Investment Worth $250,000

Shares of Walt Disney Company (NYSE:<a class="ticker" href="https://www.benzinga.com/stock/DIS#NYSE">DIS</a>) are treading water on Monday. New reports indicate the company is initiating another round of layoffs impacting <a href="https://www.benzinga.com/25/03/44149088/disney-cuts-200-jobs-across-abc-and-tv-networks-amid-restructuring">several hundred employees globally</a>.
What To Know: Disney is reportedly cutting hundreds of roles. The cuts span multiple departments, including film and television marketing, publicity, casting, development and corporate finance, according to<a href="https://variety.com/2025/tv/news/disney-mass-layoffs-tv-film-finance-departments-1236415786/"> the Variety.</a>
The layoffs are part of Disney's ongoing efforts to streamline operations and boost efficiency across its sprawling media and entertainment business. While no teams are being eliminated in full, the reductions will reportedly impact staff in both domestic and international roles. 
The fresh round of job cuts follows multiple rounds of layoffs over the past year, including nearly 200 job cuts in TV and ABC News in March and around 300 corporate roles slashed in September 2024.
The efficiency push comes as Disney continues to restructure under CEO Bob Iger, who returned to the helm in late 2022 and led a major cost-cutting effort in 2023 that resulted in more than 8,000 job losses. The current cuts appear to be more targeted.
Despite the layoffs, Disney's recent financial performance has remained strong. The company beat Wall Street earnings expectations for the first quarter of 2025 and maintained guidance for the full fiscal year when it <a href="https://www.benzinga.com/25/05/45251203/disney-rides-strong-subscriber-growth-and-movie-hits-lifts-forecast-with-1-billion-streaming-goal">reported results</a> last month. Management projected a 16% increase in earnings per share and guided for double-digit growth in operating income for both the entertainment and sports segments, along with 6% to 8% growth in its parks and consumer products division.
&#8220;Our outstanding performance this quarter—with adjusted EPS up 20% from the prior year driven by our Entertainment and Experiences businesses—underscores our continued success building for growth and executing across our strategic priorities,&#8221; Iger said in May.

What's Going On With Disney Stock Monday?

Shanghai-based NIO Inc. (NYSE:<a class="ticker" href="https://www.benzinga.com/stock/NIO#NYSE">NIO</a>) will likely provide a glimpse at the electric vehicle sector and new car brands when it releases its first-quarter financial results on Tuesday <a href="https://www.benzinga.com/earnings">before the market opens</a>.
Earnings Estimates: Analysts expect first-quarter revenue of $1.73 billion—up from $1.37 billion in last year's first quarter. 
<a href="https://www.benzinga.com/pro/register?utm_adType=bzprocontent&amp;utm_campaign=14daytrial&amp;utm_ad=0602">According to Benzinga Pro</a>, NIO missed analyst estimates for revenue in four straight quarters and six of the last seven quarters overall, 
Analysts also anticipate a loss of 37 cents per share, compared to a loss of 33 cents per share in last year's first quarter, as <a href="https://www.gurufocus.com/news/2902405/nio-nio-anticipates-strong-q1-performance-with-revenue-surge">reported </a>by GuruFocus. The company has beaten analyst earnings per share in four of the last six quarters overall.
Guidance <a href="https://www.benzinga.com/25/03/44433594/nio-misses-revenue-estimates-lowers-q1-forecast-amid-stronger-competition-in-ev-market">from the company</a> calls for revenue to be in a range of $1.694 billion to $1.762 billion.

ONVO and FIREFLY, the company's family-oriented and smaller high-end vehicles, respectively, are contributing to its strong delivery growth.
These new brands allow Nio to target more consumers and come after the company led the way as the top electric vehicle company in China for vehicles priced over RMB300,000.
ONVO brand, targeting the mainstream mass market, will concentrate on increasing its sales volume and enriching its product portfolio. Firefly's model will be officially launched and begin deliveries in April, serving as a key driver for our future international expansion," Nio CEO William Bin Li said after fourth-quarter results.
With deliveries already reported for April and May, investors and analysts will likely focus on the company&#8217;s guidance for the rest of the fiscal year and any commentary on tariffs.
Chinese stocks like Nio have been <a href="https://www.benzinga.com/government/regulations/25/05/45348699/us-listed-chinese-stocks-rally-as-countries-agree-to-ease-import-tariffs">highly volatile</a> due to tariffs placed on imports into the U.S. A recent pause to higher tariffs on Chinese imports has helped boost Chinese stocks temporarily.
NIO Price Action: Nio stock was down 0.71% to $3.52 at last check on Monday, compared to a 52-week trading range of $3.02 to $7.71. It is down 23.2% year-to-date in 2025.
