Wall Street's love affair with mega-cap tech shows no signs of cooling. The S&amp;P 500 just wrapped up its sixth straight month of gains, climbing more than 40% since the post-tariff lows in April. But once again, it's the so-called Magnificent Seven <a href="https://www.benzinga.com/news/25/10/48494920/magnificent-seven-market-cap-today-china-japan-gdp-nvidia-5-trillion-ai-jensen-huang-mags-etf">doing the heavy lifting.</a>



Nvidia Corp. (NASDAQ:<a class="ticker" href="https://www.benzinga.com/quote/NVDA">NVDA</a>), Microsoft Corp. (NYSE:<a class="ticker" href="https://www.benzinga.com/quote/MSFT">MSFT</a>), Apple Inc. (NASDAQ:<a class="ticker" href="https://www.benzinga.com/quote/AAPL">AAPL</a>), Amazon.com Inc. (NASDAQ:<a class="ticker" href="https://www.benzinga.com/quote/AMZN">AMZN</a>), Alphabet Inc. (NASDAQ:<a class="ticker" href="https://www.benzinga.com/quote/GOOGL">GOOGL</a>), Meta Platforms Inc. (NASDAQ:<a class="ticker" href="https://www.benzinga.com/quote/META">META</a>), and Tesla Inc. (NASDAQ:<a class="ticker" href="https://www.benzinga.com/quote/TSLA">TSLA</a>) now boast a combined market value north of $22 trillion. Nvidia alone has crossed an unprecedented $5 trillion valuation, cementing its role as the world's most valuable company. 



The chipmaker's CEO Jensen Huang stunned investors at Washington's GTC event on Tuesday by unveiling $500 billion in projected AI datacenter revenue <a href="https://www.benzinga.com/markets/tech/25/10/48519708/jensen-huang-says-nvidia-has-visibility-into-half-a-trillion-dollars-in-revenue-as-it-surpasses-apple-microsoft-to-hit-5-trillion-valuation">over the next two years.</a>



All five tech titans that reported earnings this week—Microsoft, Alphabet, Amazon, Meta, and Apple—beat analyst expectations. Yet the market's response was mixed. Amazon and Alphabet surged sharply, Apple and Microsoft were little moved, while Meta plunged 10% after announcing massive AI-related capital spending.



The Cupertino-based tech giant continues to wrestle with weaker Chinese demand but sounded upbeat on iPhone 17 sales heading <a href="https://www.benzinga.com/trading-ideas/long-ideas/25/10/48571272/apple-breaks-records-in-q4-tim-cook-says-q1-will-be-even-better-the-best-ever-for-the-company">into the holiday season.</a>



Meanwhile, Federal Reserve Chair Jerome Powell threw a splash of cold water on hopes for <a href="https://www.benzinga.com/markets/economic-data/25/10/48510387/jerome-powell-press-conference-fed-meeting-october-30-interest-rate-outlook-market-reactions">another rate cut in December.</a>



Although the Fed delivered a widely expected 25-basis-point reduction on Wednesday, Powell stressed that another cut in December is "far from a foregone conclusion." 



Divisions within the Fed are growing, he admitted, and visibility has worsened due to the ongoing government shutdown, which is delaying key data.



"If you are driving in the fog, you slow down," Powell said.



Beyond the trading screens, signs of labor market strain are intensifying. Amazon recently cut 14,000 jobs, prompting some to highlight the rising impact of AI.



General Motors Co. (NYSE:<a class="ticker" href="https://www.benzinga.com/quote/GM">GM</a>) is temporarily laying off about 5,500 workers across three plants, including Detroit's Factory Zero. GM plans to bring back roughly 2,200 employees in January but will furlough 1,200 indefinitely as it reassesses electric-vehicle output following President Donald Trump's rollback of key EV tax credits. 



With no official labor data due next week, investors will closely watch private-sector surveys like ADP's National Employment Report for clues on hiring trends and what they might mean for future Fed policy.

Sable Offshore Corp. (NYSE:<a class="ticker" href="https://www.benzinga.com/quote/SOC">SOC</a>) shares fell on Friday after Hunterbrook Media published a report alleging the company leaked key information to investors, including <a href="https://www.benzinga.com/news/25/10/48568756/markets-today-wall-street-friday-amazon-apple-first-solar-earnings-nasdaq-100-netflix-stock-split">golfer Phil Mickelson.</a>

According to <a href="https://hntrbrk.com/sable-2/">the report</a> from Hunterbrook, a leaked call revealed that Sable CEO Jim Flores told select investors the company might need to raise up to $200 million by the end of 2025, information not publicly disclosed. 



Benzinga reached out to Sable Offshore, Mickelson and the White House and did not receive an immediate response.

Hunterbrook alleged that the leak is part of a pattern of selective sharing with investors like Mickelson, who passed on tips in a private group chat about an upcoming SEC filing that briefly lifted Sable's stock.



Hunterbrook said that Sable later claimed the leaked recording was AI-generated. 



In the call, Flores allegedly discussed seeking help from President Donald Trump and Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnick to bypass state rules and fund the project, even offering a golf round with Mickelson. 



The report claims a source close to Lutnick has denied any contact, while Mickelson dismissed concerns in the group chat, joking about the group&#8217;s poor investment record.

Sable Stock Drops After Hunterbrook Alleges CEO Leaked Info To Phil Mickelson, Investors

Artificial intelligence has minted one of the biggest profit stories in modern market history, and one company, Nvidia (NASDAQ:<a class="ticker" href="https://www.benzinga.com/quote/NVDA">NVDA</a>), has raked in most of the cash. Its formula isn&#8217;t very complicated, as Nvidia&#8217;s graphics chips power everything from OpenAI&#8217;s ChatGPT to Tesla&#8217;s full self-driving algorithms.



Yet change is stirring as Wall Street begins to question whether Nvidia&#8217;s best days are already priced into the mix. AMD (NASDAQ:<a class="ticker" href="https://www.benzinga.com/quote/AMD">AMD</a>)



Even as an AI underdog, AMD is quietly positioning itself for the &#8220;AI efficiency&#8221; phase.&nbsp;



&#8220;The MI300&#8217;s 2x performance-per-watt edge matters as inference workloads become the bottleneck, not training. 2026 could be AMD&#8217;s inflection point if they keep winning cloud share,&#8221; Dewdney said. &#8220;It&#8217;s the classic efficiency versus dominance dynamic.&#8221;



At Boston-based VistaShares, CEO Adam Patti said he&#8217;s &#8220;very bullish&#8221; on AMD&#8217;s outlook, as it&#8217;s the fourth-largest holding in the firm&#8217;s AI Infrastructure ETF (NYSE:<a class="ticker" href="https://www.benzinga.com/quote/AIS">AIS</a>). 



&#8220;They have a talented management team, significant industry support, and innovative new products on the horizon that will make them a significant player across the spectrum of AI development, but particularly within the inference segment of the market, which is expanding exponentially,&#8221; he noted.



Microsoft (NASDAQ:<a class="ticker" href="https://www.benzinga.com/quote/MSFT">MSFT</a>)



Microsoft&#8217;s AI integrations across Azure, Copilot, and Office 365 are now monetizing faster than expected, contributing an estimated $10 billion in incremental revenue in FY2025. Meanwhile, investors are re-rating AI providers that can turn inference into recurring profits.



&#8220;MSFT is a powerful company with a massive installed base of customers,&#8221; Patti said. &#8220;However, I wouldn&#8217;t view them as a &#8216;picks and shovels&#8217; play. As a hyperscaler, MSFT is focused now on making the massive infrastructure investments required to build far larger compute capabilities so that one day they can create applications powerful enough to provide significant value to their consumers and generate meaningful profits from these new tools.&#8221;



Patti said he views MSFT&#8217;s recent integrations as &#8220;baby steps&#8221; towards a far larger AI-centered future, but they have &#8220;certainly had success in these early days.&#8221;



Taiwan Semiconductor (NYSE:<a class="ticker" href="https://www.benzinga.com/quote/TSM">TSM</a>)



Patti is also a fan of Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company.



&#8220;TSM manufactures chips for NVDA, AMD, AAPL, among others,&#8221; he said. &#8220;Without their capabilities and technology, the AI buildout would be difficult to execute. Fortunately, they have moved some manufacturing to the United States, which alleviates a bit of the geopolitical risk embedded in their business model.&#8221;



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">The Next Phase</h2>



The stock market&#8217;s next AI winners may not be the fastest chip sector giant, but the most efficient, and of the three picks listed above, Microsoft and AMD may be the best positioned.



&#8220;MSFT is one of the largest investors in AI Infrastructure, so certainly they will be one of the largest beneficiaries of the eventual success of AI-driven software and services,&#8221; Patti said. &#8220;However, we have a way to go to realize that business model as highly profitable.&#8221;



For now, Microsoft is more of a CAPEX provider with the promise of profits down the road. &#8220;AMD, however, is a potential winner in the next phase of AI development,&#8221; he added. &#8220;As inference takes center stage, AMD should be one of the primary beneficiaries.&#8221;

3 Nvidia Rivals Poised To Dominate The AI Race

Tech stocks edged higher Friday, rebounding from Thursday's 1.5% drop in the Nasdaq 100 as upbeat earnings from mega-cap giants kept <a href="https://www.benzinga.com/markets">the rally momentum alive.</a>



Amazon.com Inc. (NASDAQ:<a class="ticker" href="https://www.benzinga.com/quote/AMZN">AMZN</a>) surged more than 10% after reporting blowout results, with AWS revenue jumping 20% year over year to $33 billion. Apple Inc. (NASDAQ:<a class="ticker" href="https://www.benzinga.com/quote/AAPL">AAPL</a>) traded broadly flat as optimism over iPhone 17 sales was tempered by weaker demand in China.



All major U.S. indexes are on pace to close October in the green: the S&amp;P 500 is up over 2.5%, the Nasdaq 100 nearly 5%, and the Dow Jones Industrial Average about 2.5%. For both the S&amp;P 500 and the Dow, October marks a sixth consecutive month of gains — the longest streaks since August 2021 and January 2018, respectively.



Nvidia Corp. (NASDAQ:<a class="ticker" href="https://www.benzinga.com/quote/NVDA">NVDA</a>) rose almost 1% after announcing plans to supply more than 260,000 Blackwell AI chips to South Korea's government and companies including Samsung and Hyundai, bolstering their smart factory and AI initiatives.



First Solar Inc. (NASDAQ:<a class="ticker" href="https://www.benzinga.com/quote/FSLR">FSLR</a>) topped the S&amp;P 500 leaderboard after posting stronger-than-expected earnings and raising guidance, while Netflix Inc. (NASDAQ:<a class="ticker" href="https://www.benzinga.com/quote/NFLX">NFLX</a>) climbed 3.5% — its best session since April — following news of a 10-for-1 stock split effective Nov. 17.



In currencies, the U.S. dollar index extended its advance for a third straight session as traders pared back expectations for a December Fed rate cut. Fed funds futures now price in a 63% probability of a 25-basis-point move at the Dec. 10 meeting.



Gold fell 1% to $3,980 and silver dropped 0.7% to $48.57. Meanwhile, cryptocurrencies rebounded after four days of declines, buoyed by upbeat earnings from Coinbase Global Inc. (NASDAQ:<a class="ticker" href="https://www.benzinga.com/quote/COIN">COIN</a>) and MicroStrategy Inc. (NASDAQ:<a class="ticker" href="https://www.benzinga.com/quote/MSTR">MSTR</a>), up 6.5% and 7.7%, respectively. Wedbush on AMZN: Devitt said Amazon had strong third-quarter results and "encouraging" guidance for the fourth quarter, in a new investor note.



"We expect there is some conservatism embedded in management's outlook, as the company has outperformed the high end of its guide for several consecutive quarters," Devitt said.



The analyst highlighted the AWS growth, which was the strongest year-over-year gain since the fourth quarter of 2022.



"We believe investors have regained comfort in management's ability to retain a leading position in the AI space."



Bank of America on AMZN: The capacity ramp for AWS could drive upside for Amazon, Post said in a new investor note.



"While the doubling of power capacity since 2022 suggests AWS revs. Are growing at slower rate than capacity, outlook could suggest potential for AWS growth at over 25% over next two years," Post said.



The analyst said the company's guidance suggests a strong holiday and limited impact from tariffs.



With AWS growth and strong ecommerce growth that suggests market share gains, the analyst says "both engines running smoothly" for Amazon.



DA Davidson on AMZN: The reacceleration in AWS segment revenue was a key highlight from the earnings results for Luria.



"Apart from Amazon Web Services, Amazon saw mixed results regarding its various segments," Luria said.



The analyst said Amazon is "clearing the path for a positive road ahead."



Goldman Sachs on AMZN: Key themes of AWS AI positioning and sustained margins were items highlighted by Sheridan in a new investor note.



"The company remains in investment mode across AI, Cloud broadly, the inventory and infrastructure aligned for the upcoming Holiday period &amp; scaling agentic commerce experiences beyond 2025," Sheridan said.



The analyst said Amazon can achieve "compounded revenue growth" and expand operating margins going forward while also investing in its long-term growth plans.



"We see AMZN as well positioned for future outperformance."



JPMorgan on AMZN: The ecommerce and cloud company pushed back investor concerns on AWS with a strong quarter, Anmuth said in a new investor note.



"AWS growth was the fastest in 11 quarters, and the combination of 3Q momentum plus Project Rainer coming online suggests that AWS growth could accelerate meaningfully in 2026," Anmuth said.



The analyst said AWS may have been stronger than Microsoft's Azure in the third quarter. Anmuth said AWS could have bigger year-over-year additions than Azure starting in the first fiscal quarter of 2026.



"We believe Amazon is well positioned as the market leader in e-commerce and public cloud."



Rosenblatt on AMZN: The acceleration of AWS in the third quarter was what Amazon investors were waiting for, Crockett said in a new investor note.



The analyst also highlighted the fact that macro issues didn't hurt the company's ecommerce segment.



"Surprising to us was that talk of a slowing macro was not apparent in Amazon's retail and ad trends/discussion," Crockett said.



The analyst said the company's guidance shows "no hint of macro headwinds."



Crockett highlighted the company's advertising year-over-year growth of 22% in the quarter with Amazon discussing new deals with Roku, Netflix, Spotify and SiriusXM and strength in upfront sales.



Telsey on AMZN: Strong quarterly results and guidance show Amazon could have retail market share gains and accelerated AWS growth, Feldman said in a new investor note.



The analyst said the results and guidance show "healthy sales and profit growth" in all the company's business segments.



"AWS remained the star of the show, with growth accelerating due to rising demand for cloud and AI products," Feldman said.



AMZN Price Action: Amazon stock is up 11.5% to $248.42 on Friday. Shares hit a new all-time high of $250.50 during Friday's trading session. Amazon shares are up 12.8% year-to-date in 2025.

The report also said gross margin was strong at 47.2% due to a favorable product mix and Apple's own technologies, and that R&amp;D and AI investments would support new products, even if they kept margins from rising as quickly.​



BofA Securities maintained a Buy rating and raised Apple's price target from $320 to $325.



BofA analyst Wamsi Mohan sees Apple as set for more growth into 2026, thanks to brisk iPhone sales, solid gross margins that held up against tariffs and more focus on AI.&nbsp;

D.A. Davidson maintained a Neutral rating and raised Apple's price target from $250 to $270.



D.A. Davidson analyst Gil Luria said that although Apple topped expectations for both revenue and profit, iPhone sales grew at a slower year-over-year pace.  



Luria also pointed out that Apple's costs were rising as it spent more on AI and Apple Intelligence, but margins for the next quarter were still strong at 47–48% despite a $1.4 billion tariff expense.​



Rosenblatt maintained a Buy rating and increased Apple's price target from $275 to $310.



Rosenblatt analyst Barton Crockett expects new features like advanced AI and foldable phones will keep customers interested in future upgrade cycles. The analyst also sees Apple's core businesses holding up well in the future, despite higher AI spending and tariffs.&nbsp;

Apple Experts Bullish After Q4—'Eventual Winner' In AI

Wall Street's favorite benchmark just flirted with a technical milestone that has only been hit three times in modern history, a stretch that speaks volumes about the strength of this bull market—but also draws comparisons to periods <a href="https://www.benzinga.com/topic/expert-ideas">when markets cooled off fast.</a>



The S&amp;P 500, as tracked by the Vanguard S&amp;P 500 ETF (NYSE:<a class="ticker" href="https://www.benzinga.com/quote/VOO">VOO</a>), is poised to log its sixth straight month of gains, with October on track for a 2.5% increase. That would mark the longest winning streak since August 2021. 



Yet, it&#8217;s not the monthly streak that's catching traders' eyes—it&#8217;s a subtler signal flashing from the charts.



As of Oct. 30, the S&amp;P 500 has spent 128 consecutive trading sessions above its 50-day moving average, a technical indicator of short-term momentum.



It&#8217;s the fourth-longest such streak in over five decades.

<h2 class="wp-block-heading">S&amp;P 500 Had Mixed Forward Returns After This Rare Technical Occurrence Happened</h2>



The last time this happened was March 2011, when the streak stretched to 130 days—but it didn't go much further. On March 10, 2011, the index dropped 1.9% and closed below the 50-day threshold, snapping the run.



In the month after, the index managed a 1.78% gain, yet by the six-month mark, it was down 8.5%. The 12-month return, while positive at 3.24%, lagged the broader market&#8217;s annual returns.



Rewind to January 2007, the second most recent occurrence. The index gained 1.92% over the next month, continued higher for six months, up 6.61%, but then began to unravel as the subprime mortgage crisis started to infect the broader financial system. By the 12-month mark, the index was down 6.55%.



Then there's July 1995, which tells a different story. That year, the U.S. economy was in a &#8220;Goldilocks&#8221; phase: low inflation, steady growth, and the beginning of a technological revolution that would supercharge corporate earnings for years to come. The Federal Reserve had paused its rate-hiking cycle, creating the perfect backdrop for a risk-on environment.



After notching 128 days above the 50-day moving average on July 10, 1995, the S&amp;P 500 barely moved over the next month but then climbed steadily: up by 3.65% in three months, by 7.41% in six months, and by a whopping 17.74% a year later. 



It was the dawn of a historic bull market that would dominate the second half of the 1990s.

<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Can Seasonality Save The Rally? History Suggests It Might</h2>



While the technical setup of the S&amp;P 500 might be flashing yellow lights for short-term momentum, the calendar could be working in the bulls&#8217; favor, according to analyst Ryan Detrick.



In 2025, the S&amp;P 500 is up 15.5% year to date through October, placing it firmly within a rare group of strong-performing years. 



As Detrick&#8217;s analysis below shows, since 1950, there have been only 22 years in which the index gained more than 15% through the end of October, and the final two months of the year delivered gains in 95.2% of those cases.



In 22 such occurrences, the S&amp;P 500 gained an average of 2.7% in November, while December added another 2.0%.



The lone exception came in 1986, when the S&amp;P 500, despite gaining over 15% by the end of October, slipped 0.7% over the final two months—the only instance since 1950 where a strong performance through October didn't translate into a strong finish.

S&P 500's Winning Streak Marks Rare Milestone—What Happens Next?

Despite a 9% weekly rally that pushed Nvidia Corp. (NASDAQ:<a class="ticker" href="https://www.benzinga.com/quote/NVDA">NVDA</a>) to a $5 trillion valuation milestone, Goldman Sachs says the party <a href="https://www.benzinga.com/markets/tech/25/10/48554076/nvidia-secures-exclusive-access-to-taiwan-semiconductors-next-gen-super-chip">is far from over. </a>



The investment bank sees more upside ahead for the AI chip leader, with analyst James Schneider lifting the stock's 12-month price target to $240, up from $210. That implies nearly 20% upside from current levels. 



In a Friday note, Schneider reaffirmed a Buy rating on Nvidia, citing better visibility into its $500 billion datacenter revenue forecast, accelerating AI infrastructure demand, and improving clarity around OpenAI's chip deployments and the upcoming Rubin architecture ramp in calendar year 2026. 



Goldman's call marks the second major Wall Street upgrade this week, following Bank of America's $275 target earlier—fueling growing conviction that Nvidia still has room to run even after its historic surge.

<h2 class="wp-block-heading">$500B In Orders, And Growing </h2>



According to Goldman, the main driver of bullish sentiment is Nvidia's ability to secure over $500 billion in datacenter revenue across 2025 and 2026.



 That estimate, first disclosed at last week&#8217;s GTC event, was framed around a mix of GPU and networking hardware tied to 20 GW of compute deployments. 



Schneider said investors will be focused on &#8220;incremental details&#8221; behind that massive number—such as cadence, customer concentration, and product mix—when Nvidia next reports earnings on Nov. 19. 



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Why OpenAI And Rubin Matter For 2026 </h2>



Goldman analysts are watching closely for more insight into OpenAI's planned chip deployments, including their timing and expected revenue contribution in 2026. 



Alongside that, they flagged the importance of Nvidia's Rubin chip platform, introduced as the company's next-generation architecture to follow Blackwell. 



According to the note, the trajectory of Rubin's ramp, including product mix and commercial adoption, will likely be a major factor in how investors shape expectations for Nvidia's 2026 earnings power. 



"We expect Nvidia to deliver a beat-and-raise quarter," Schneider wrote, adding that the stock's reaction will hinge on the magnitude of upside to forward guidance. 



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Goldman's Nvidia Forecasts Are Now Well Above the Street</h2>



 Goldman raised its revenue and non-GAAP EPS estimates by 12% on average across fiscal years 2026 through 2028. 



Their updated EPS estimate for fiscal years 2027 and 2028 is now 22% and 28% above Street&#8217;s consensus, respectively, thanks in part to stronger hyperscaler capital spending and recent management commentary.



For the near term, Goldman projects third- and fourth-quarter EPS of $1.28 and $1.49, both modestly above the Street. 



Looking ahead, Schneider said market focus will shift to two key questions: how much upside is left in hyperscaler capex, and how much revenue contribution Nvidia can pull from non-traditional customers—particularly as the AI buildout broadens beyond big tech. 



Even with Nvidia now valued at $5 trillion, or 16% of the U.S. GDP, Goldman Sachs views the stock as driven more by fundamentals than hype.

Scott Wren, Senior Global Market Strategist at Wells Fargo, advises investors to disregard short-term &#8220;noise&#8221; and headlines, suggesting any market impact will likely &#8220;dissolve quickly&#8221;. Instead, he urges a focus on long-term trends that will drive profits over the next 12 to 18 months or longer.



Wren notes that while the artificial intelligence (AI) secular theme has been a &#8220;major key&#8221; for the market, other trends also deserve attention. These include related tech trends like cybersecurity, factory automation, and robotics, as well as tax cuts and deregulation.

They hold positive (favorable) ratings on the Technology, Financials, Industrials, and Utilities sectors. They expect Financials to benefit from deregulation, while Industrials and Utilities should profit from the data-center buildout and electrical grid upgrades.

On Thursday, Apple Inc. (NASDAQ:<a class="ticker" href="https://www.benzinga.com/quote/AAPL">AAPL</a>) CEO Tim Cook said the company set a record for iPhone upgrades in September, noting that demand for its latest iPhone 17 lineup is so strong that several <a href="https://www.benzinga.com/25/04/44917129/apple-ceo-tim-cook-gets-anxious-over-this-issue-threatening-the-inventory-of-iphone-17-he-is-pushing-suppliers-every-day">models remain constrained</a>.



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Strongest iPhone Lineup Yet</h2>



During Apple's <a href="https://www.benzinga.com/markets/earnings/25/10/48545962/apple-stock-hits-all-time-high-following-q4-earnings-beat-active-installed-base-reaches-record-levels-across-all-products">fourth-quarter earnings call</a> on Thursday, Cook attributed the iPhone 17's success to what he called the company's strongest lineup ever.



&nbsp;"The [iPhone] 17 Pro is the most pro phone we've ever done," he said, adding that the iPhone 17 Air "feels so thin" and "light in your hand … like it's going to fly away."



He also said that the standard iPhone 17 now includes features that were once exclusive to the Pro series, making it a standout value for consumers.



"It's all about the product," Cook said, stressing that the design and performance are resonating globally.



Earlier this month, it was reported that Cupertino is <a href="https://www.benzinga.com/markets/tech/25/10/48351897/apple-reportedly-cuts-iphone-air-production-ramps-up-other-flagship-models">significantly reducing production</a> of its iPhone Air model while ramping up output for other flagship iPhone 17 variants to meet surging demand.



The iPhone Air, once projected to make up 10–15% of new iPhone production this year, will see orders slashed to under 10% of September's output starting in November.

<h2 class="wp-block-heading">China Market Shows Signs Of Recovery</h2>



When asked about <a href="https://www.benzinga.com/markets/tech/25/09/47756248/apples-iphone-17-series-sees-strong-start-in-china-india-pro-max-model-leads-the-pack">Apple's performance in China</a>, Cook said he visited the region and described the market as "vibrant and dynamic."



&nbsp;"Store traffic is up significantly year over year," he said, adding that the iPhone 17 family has been "very well received."



Cook noted that Apple expects to return to growth in China in the first quarter of fiscal 2026, driven by strong iPhone demand. "I couldn't be more pleased with how things are going there," he said.



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Apple's Record Upgraders, Tight Supply</h2>



Apple also saw a surge in upgrades from existing users. "We did set a September record for upgraders. And so it was a great quarter from that point of view," Cook said, though he noted it's too early to assess trends among customers switching from rival brands.



As for inventory, Cook said Apple ended the quarter toward the low end of its targeted range, adding that the company continues to face supply constraints on several iPhone 17 models.



&#8220;We're constrained today on several models of the iPhone 17. There's not a ramp issue. It's just we have very strong demand and we're working very hard to fulfill all the orders that we have,&#8221; he said.



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Apple Tops Q4 Estimates With 8% Revenue Growth</h2>



Apple posted fiscal fourth-quarter revenue of $102.47 billion, surpassing analyst expectations of $102.17 billion.



Earnings came in at $1.85 per share, also topping estimates of $1.76. iPhone revenue rose to $49.02 billion, up from $46.22 billion a year earlier.



Overall, total revenue increased 8% year over year, while earnings per share jumped 13%.

<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Stock Market Sets Aside US-China Trade Truce</h2>



Stocks extended their losses on Thursday. The Dow Jones Industrial Average slid 109.88 points, or 0.23%, to close at 47,522.12. The S&amp;P 500 lost 0.99%,&nbsp; settling at 6,822.34. The tech-focused Nasdaq Composite dipped 1.57% to close the session at 23,581.14.



Investors found little substance in the <a href="https://www.benzinga.com/news/politics/25/10/48542492/trump-xi-meeting-us-china-trade-deal-war-tariffs-fentanyl-nvidia-tech-taiwan-semiconductors-exports-rare-earths">U.S.-China trade truce</a> following President Donald Trump&#8217;s "amazing" meeting with Chinese leader Xi Jinping.



Trump agreed to slash fentanyl-related tariffs by 10%, bringing down the overall tariffs on Chinese imports from 57% to 47%. China, in return, paused its export controls on rare earths and promised to buy more U.S. agricultural goods like soybeans and sorghum.



Hawkish remarks from Federal Reserve Chair Jerome Powell the day before tempered hopes of a<a href="https://www.benzinga.com/markets/economic-data/25/10/48510387/jerome-powell-press-conference-fed-meeting-october-30-interest-rate-outlook-market-reactions"> year-end rate cut</a>, sending markets lower.



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Is ETH On Course For $10,000?</h2>



Chris Kline, COO &amp; Co-Founder at BitcoinIRA, weighed in on the market's underperformance in October in a note to Benzinga.



"The traditional ‘Uptober' post-halving cycle doesn&#8217;t exist in a vacuum. This year, we&#8217;re also operating in an ecosystem of all-time highs for crypto, gold, and stocks, alongside government shutdowns over contentious budget decisions and ongoing trade battles," Kline said.



The analyst added that while cycles aren't "perfect," Bitcoin's controlled supply dynamics is keeping it "stable."



Widely followed cryptocurrency analyst and trader Ali Martinez said Ethereum could hit the $10,000 target, but not before a sharp retracement.



"We may first get a price correction to $2,000," Martinez predicted. "From there, ETH can break past $5,000 and then reach the $10,000 target."

Q4 Highlights: Apple reported fiscal fourth-quarter revenue of $102.47 billion, beating analyst&nbsp;<a href="https://www.benzinga.com/quote/AAPL/earnings" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">estimates</a>&nbsp;of $102.17 billion. The tech giant reported fourth-quarter earnings of $1.85 per share, beating analyst estimates of $1.76 per share.



Apple has a strong history of topping analyst estimates. With Thursday&#8217;s better-than-expected results, the company has now beat expectations on the top and bottom lines in 11 straight quarters, according to <a href="http://pro.benzinga.com/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Benzinga Pro</a>.



Total revenue was up 8% year-over-year, and earnings per share climbed 13% year-over-year. Americas sales totaled $44.19 billion in the quarter, Europe sales came in at $28.7 billion, Greater China sales were approximately $14.49 billion, Japan sales totaled $6.64 billion and the rest of Asia Pacific sales were $8.44 billion.



Product revenue came in at $73.72 billion, up from $69.96 billion year-over-year. Services revenue totaled $28.75 billion, up from $24.97 billion year-over-year. Here&#8217;s a breakdown of product sales by category.

&#8220;Today, Apple is very proud to report a September quarter revenue record of&nbsp;$102.5 billion, including a September quarter revenue record for iPhone and an all-time revenue record for Services,&#8221; said&nbsp;Tim Cook, CEO of Apple.

Apple ended the quarter with $35.93 billion in cash and cash equivalents. The company's board declared a quarterly cash dividend of&nbsp;26 cents&nbsp;per share, payable on Nov. 13 to shareholders of record as of Nov. 10.

Apple Stock Hits All-Time High Following Q4 Earnings Beat, Active Installed Base Reaches Record Levels Across All Products

Ecommerce giant Amazon.com Inc (NASDAQ:<a class="ticker" href="https://www.benzinga.com/quote/AMZN">AMZN</a>) reported third-quarter financial results Thursday <a href="https://www.benzinga.com/earnings">after market close.</a>



Here are the key highlights.



What Happened: Amazon reported third-quarter net sales of $180.2 billion, up 13% year-over-year. The sales total beat the Street consensus estimate of $177.8 billion, according to <a href="https://bzresearch.myclickfunnels.com/benzinga-pro-content-webinar-registration/?utm_source=BZprocontent103025&amp;t=be2bearmibe3na1">Benzinga Pro.</a>



Sales were broken down as follows:

<li>North America: $106.3 billion, +11% year-over-year</li>



<li>International: $40.9 billion, +14% year-over-year</li>



<li>AWS: $33.0 billion, +20% year-over-year</li>
</ul>



The company reported third-quarter earnings per share of $1.95, beating a Street consensus estimate of $1.57.



Operating income for the company was $17.4 billion, which was broken down by segment:

The operating income was flat from last year's third quarter total of $17.4 billion. The company said the quarterly operating income included two special charges of $2.5 billion and $1.8 billion, related to a legal settlement with the Federal Trade Commission and severance costs for planned role eliminations, respectively. Amazon said that without these charges, the operating income total would have been $21.7 billion.



"We continue to see strong momentum and growth across Amazon as AI drives meaningful improvements in every corner of our business," Amazon CEO Andy Jassy said. "AWS is growing at a pace we haven't seen since 2022, re-accelerating to 20.2% YoY."



The company highlighted several platforms seeing progress with AI in the quarter. The company also signed new AWS agreements with several notable companies in the quarter, showing momentum in cloud services demand.



For the company's Prime Video streaming segment, the company highlighted over 70 million viewers globally for the third season of "The Summer I Turned Pretty." The company also highlighted strong viewership for its fourth season of "Thursday Night Football," with the average of 15.3 million viewers up 16% year-over-year from last season's average.



Prime Video also debuted its NBA on Prime coverage in over 200 countries for the 2025-2026 NBA season, with an average audience of 1.25 million viewers in the U.S. for the season-opening doubleheader.

What's Next: Amazon is guiding for fourth-quarter net sales to be in a range of $206.0 billion to $213.0 billion, up 10% to 13% year-over-year, respectively.



The company expects fourth-quarter operating income to be in a range of $21.0 billion to $26.0 billion, compared to $21.2 billion in last year's fourth quarter.



"We continue to see strong demand in AI and core infrastructure, and we've been focused on accelerating capacity – adding more than 3.8 gigawatts in the past 12 months," Jassy said.



AMZN Price Action: Amazon stock is up 9% to $242.50 in after-hours trading Thursday versus a 52-week trading range of $161.43 to $242.52.

<h2 class="wp-block-heading">AI Becomes The Core Product, Not The Add-On</h2>



Alphabet's record $102.3 billion in quarterly revenue and 16% year-over-year growth were powered by AI — both in ads and in the cloud. But beneath the headline numbers, Pichai's remarks reveal where the next wave of growth is: reimagining search itself.



AI Overviews are now reaching over two billion users, and Google's new AI Mode — essentially conversational search powered by Gemini — already has 75 million daily users in the U.S. 



That's not experimental scale; it's mainstream adoption. And despite fears that AI would cannibalize search monetization, Chief Business Officer Philipp Schindler said ad performance in AI formats remains "approximately the same rate" as traditional search — giving Alphabet the green light to keep pushing deeper.



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Gemini's Integration Is Google's Next Growth Engine</h2>



Pichai said the company is treating Gemini as "a more personal, proactive, powerful AI assistant" — hinting at a coming fusion between Google Search, Gemini and even Waymo. It's all part of Google's push to own every step of the user journey — from query to transaction to mobility.
