<p><strong>What To Know: </strong>MicroStrategy announced in a new SEC filing that it purchased approximately 51,780 Bitcoins for approximately $4.6 billion in cash between Nov. 11 and Nov. 17. The purchases, made at an average price of $88,627, were funded through proceeds from the issuance and sale of shares under the company&#8217;s Sales Agreement entered into on Oct. 30.</p>
<p>MicroStrategy and its subsidiaries now hold 331,200 Bitcoins, acquired for a total purchase price of about $16.5 billion, or $49,874 per Bitcoin. Based on Monday&#8217;s bitcoin prices, MicroStrategy now has more than $24 billion in Bitcoin holdings and $11.7 billion in unrealized profits.</p>
<p>MicroStrategy said it sold an aggregate of 13,593,865 shares under the Sales Agreement between Nov. 11 and Nov. 17. The company had approximately $15.3 billion worth of shares remaining for issuance and sales under the Sales Agreement as of Nov. 17.</p>
<p>MicroStrategy continues to view Bitcoin as a strategic reserve asset, providing exposure to digital assets as an alternative to traditional money. <strong>Michael Saylor</strong>, the company's co-founder and executive chairman, has emphasized the value of Bitcoin in improving balance sheets and stockholder returns.</p>

MicroStrategy Shares Are Surging Monday: What's Going On?

<p><strong>GameStop Corporation</strong> (NYSE:<a class="ticker" href="https://www.benzinga.com/stock/GME#NYSE">GME</a>) could be pushing deeper into its bets on trading cards and grading services with <a href="https://www.benzinga.com/general/gaming/24/05/38799011/gamestop-dives-into-collectibles-market-with-pok-mon-trading-cards">a new board appointment</a>.</p>
<p><strong>What Happened</strong>: <strong>Nat Turner</strong> officially joined the video game retailer&#8217;s board of directors. The decision expands the number of board members from five to six. </p>
<p>Turner is well-known in the trading card community and is the <a href="https://www.benzinga.com/news/24/10/41337770/whats-going-on-with-gamestop-stock-today">CEO and chairman of <strong>Collectors</strong>.</a></p>
<p>Turner, whose role as director will expire at the company's 2025 annual stockholder meeting, will receive no compensation for his role as a director.</p>
<p>The appointment comes about a month after GameStop entered into a collaboration with<strong> Collectors Holdings</strong> as an authorized PSA dealer.</p>
<p>Turner <a href="https://www.globenewswire.com/news-release/2020/11/30/2136654/0/en/Collectors-Universe-to-be-Acquired-by-Investor-Group-Led-by-Entrepreneur-and-Collector-Nat-Turner-for-Approximately-700-Million.html">bought </a>out the former publicly-traded Collectors Universe for $700 million in 2020 with a group that included<strong> Cohen Private Ventures</strong>. He serves as CEO and <a href="https://news.gamestop.com/static-files/3a14a8c9-45ea-4adf-a6be-9d7d283ff940">owns</a> up to a 10% equity interest in its Profession Sports Authenticator. </p>
<p>GameStop said the collaboration with PSA has resulted in around $1.53 million in dollar value of transactions since the beginning of the agreement.</p>
<p><strong>Point72 Asset Management</strong>, the investment company that also owns the Point72 hedge fund ran by <strong>Steve Cohen</strong>, owns Cohen Private Ventures.</p>
<p>Point72 <a href="https://www.benzinga.com/general/gaming/23/01/30412695/gamestop-short-squeeze-anniversary-a-look-back-at-david-vs-goliath-battle-and-whats-next">provided financing to</a> <strong>Melvin Capital</strong>, a company that shorted GameStop, during the short squeeze. While the hedge fund didn't directly short GameStop, the Cohen-led firm helped provide a lifeline to one of the biggest bettors against the video game retailer.</p>

<p>Results presented today showed that zerlasiran (300 mg every 16 weeks, 300 mg every 24 weeks or 450 mg every 24 weeks) produced greater than 80% mean time-averaged placebo-adjusted reductions from baseline in Lp(a) concentrations over 36 weeks. This is the first study to report time-averaged Lp(a) analyses, which more accurately evaluates the effects of treatment over time, including intervals between doses. Maximum Lp(a) reductions exceeded 90%. At the final visit, 60 weeks following initial drug administration, reductions in Lp(a) persisted and no safety concerns emerged with infrequent dosing.</p>
