Ethereum (CRYPTO: <a class="ticker" href="https://www.benzinga.com/quote/eth/usd">ETH</a>) <a href="https://www.benzinga.com/markets/cryptocurrency/24/12/42490266/bitcoin-to-180000-ethereum-over-6000-solana-to-500-vanecks-2025-crypto-predictions">is down 18.4%</a> over the past 30 days, a much steeper drop than Bitcoin's (CRYPTO: <a class="ticker" href="https://www.benzinga.com/quote/btc/usd">BTC</a>) 7% loss in the same timeframe. While many traders still maintain a bullish outlook on ETH long-term, the altcoin's recent volatility has raised doubts and curiosity across the crypto community.
What Happened: In early February, Eric Trump <a href="https://x.com/EricTrump/status/1886541132903133230">tweeted</a> that it was a "great time" to buy Ethereum. 
His post gained traction on Crypto Twitter, prompting a sharp response from Bitcoin advocate Pierre Rochard, who dismissed the idea and included Ethereum on his list of assets to avoid. Since then, Ethereum has fallen 39%.
Adding to the selloff pressure, trader Wicked pointed out that World Liberty Financial recently moved $175 million worth of ETH to Coinbase — likely preparing to dump. "Exactly what I&#8217;d say if I was about to dump a massive bag of ETH," he remarked.
Eric Trump has previously expressed support for a variety of cryptocurrencies, including Bitcoin, Solana, Cardano, Ripple and even their own "Official Trump" token. But since his Ethereum endorsement, most of these assets have also trended lower.
The recent wave of negative sentiment was fuelled by <a href="https://in.benzinga.com/25/04/44647999/trumps-tariff-war-could-take-us-tech-industry-back-a-decade-while-china-steam-rolls-ahead-analyst-says">Donald Trump's tariff announcement</a>, which rattled broader financial markets and trickled down into crypto.

What's Next: Crypto trader Rekt Finance <a href="https://x.com/rektcapital/status/1908170270327603232">noted </a>that Ethereum's market dominance has collapsed from 20% in June 2023 to just 8% now. Historically, ETH has reversed course from similar "green zone" levels. The trader wonders if Ethereum will follow the same path this time or if the pattern has broken.
Another trader, Doctor Profit, highlighted that Ethereum is now sitting right on a long-standing support level, one that's marked several previous bottoms. After a sharp correction and peak fear, ETH has dropped directly into this zone.

President Donald Trump announced tougher-than-anticipated tariffs on Wednesday, but there are some <a href="https://www.benzinga.com/topic/tariffs" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">notable exemptions</a>.
Trump excluded pharmaceuticals from the new tariffs, likely a relief for the industry under pressure following his prior comments suggesting a 25% tariff <a href="https://www.benzinga.com/news/global/25/04/44631606/trumps-tariff-exemptions-include-semiconductors-pharmaceuticals-oil-and-more" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">on pharmaceutical imports</a>. 
&#8220;The United States can no longer produce enough antibiotics to treat our sick,&#8221; Trump said Wednesday. &#8220;We have a tremendous problem, we have to go to foreign countries to treat our sick. If anything ever happened from a war standpoint, we wouldn&#8217;t be able to do it.&#8221;
The biopharma industry has historically been shielded from tariffs, including during Trump's first term. Investors had feared global tariffs could disrupt the sector, given its significant manufacturing presence in Europe. The Morningstar <a target="_blank" href="https://www.morningstar.com/stocks/biopharma-industry-exempt-global-10-tariff-we-still-see-margin-tax-rate-risks" rel="noreferrer noopener">report</a> says that with the U.S. importing approximately $200 billion in pharmaceuticals in 2024, a 10% tariff could have resulted in a $20 billion cost to the industry, with some of the largest firms facing annual tariffs of up to $1 billion.

Per the Morningstar report on Thursday, a future global tariff on pharmaceuticals remains a risk despite the exemption, potentially pressuring gross margins and long-term tax rates. Companies may need to adjust their manufacturing strategies, though large-cap biopharma firms are expected to maintain strong economic positions. Tariffs could drive near-term margin pressures and lead to long-term U.S. manufacturing investments.
However, new facilities would take years to gain approval, especially with ongoing FDA staff <a href="https://www.benzinga.com/25/04/44634464/despite-headwinds-biotech-sell-off-could-offer-buying-opportunity-bofa" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">reductions affecting inspections</a>. If U.S. manufacturing increases, corporate tax rates could rise closer to the current 21% rate &#8211; a level Trump aims to maintain through the Republican-controlled Congress.
However, the medical device industry has not been spared, with diabetes device makers appearing to be the hardest hit.
Diabetes device manufacturers, including Dexcom Inc (NASDAQ:<a class="ticker" href="https://www.benzinga.com/stock/DXCM#NASDAQ">DXCM</a>), Insulet Corporation (NYSE:<a class="ticker" href="https://www.benzinga.com/stock/PODD#NYSE">PODD</a>) and Tandem Diabetes Care, Inc (NASDAQ:<a class="ticker" href="https://www.benzinga.com/stock/TNDM#NASDAQ">TNDM</a>) are among the most affected.
Larger cardiac and orthopedic device makers, such as Boston Scientific Corporation (NYSE:<a class="ticker" href="https://www.benzinga.com/stock/BSX#NYSE">BSX</a>), Edwards Lifesciences Corporation (NYSE:<a class="ticker" href="https://www.benzinga.com/stock/EW#NYSE">EW</a>) and Zimmer Biomet Holdings, Inc (NYSE:<a class="ticker" href="https://www.benzinga.com/stock/ZBH#NYSE">ZBH</a>) have seen minimal share movement and are expected to shift manufacturing to mitigate tariff effects.
The report <a href="https://www.morningstar.com/stocks/medical-device-industry-swept-up-tariffs-diabetes-device-makers-bear-brunt" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">notes</a> that among diabetes device makers, Tandem Diabetes appears particularly vulnerable due to its reliance on foreign components and manufacturing, limiting its ability to shift production.
The sector could face further challenges if European competitors, such as Roche Holdings AG (OTC:<a class="ticker" href="https://www.benzinga.com/stock/RHHBY#OTC">RHHBY</a>) and Ypsomed, gain an advantage or if Europe imposes reciprocal tariffs, intensifying competitive pressures.

Trump Tariffs Spare Drugmakers But Threaten Diabetes Device Industry

As Wall Street crumbles under the weight of tariffs and deepening economic fears, Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent is pointing the finger not at the Trump administration policy but at <a href="https://www.benzinga.com/topic/technology-stocks">the market&#8217;s former darlings</a>.
Speaking on the Tucker Carlson Podcast Friday, Bessent said the ongoing equity sell-off is "more a MAG Seven problem than a MAGA one," referring to the mega-cap tech leaders—Microsoft Corp. (NYSE:<a class="ticker" href="https://www.benzinga.com/stock/MSFT#NYSE">MSFT</a>), Apple Inc. (NASDAQ:<a class="ticker" href="https://www.benzinga.com/stock/AAPL#NASDAQ">AAPL</a>), NVIDIA Corp. (NASDAQ:<a class="ticker" href="https://www.benzinga.com/stock/NVDA#NASDAQ">NVDA</a>), Alphabet Inc. (NASDAQ:<a class="ticker" href="https://www.benzinga.com/stock/GOOG#NASDAQ">GOOG</a>) (NASDAQ:<a class="ticker" href="https://www.benzinga.com/stock/GOOGL#NASDAQ">GOOGL</a>), Amazon Inc. (NASDAQ:<a class="ticker" href="https://www.benzinga.com/stock/AMZN#NASDAQ">AMZN</a>), Meta Platforms Inc. While Bessent delivered his remarks, the S&amp;P 500 and Nasdaq 100 indices were tumbling through their worst week since March 2020, hammered by mounting fears of tariffs, inflationary pressures, and potential global retaliation that triggered a sharp selloff in risk assets.
The iShares Semiconductor Index (NYSE:<a class="ticker" href="https://www.benzinga.com/stock/SOXX#NYSE">SOXX</a>) is down by an astonishing 17% this week alone, on track for its worst weekly decline since 2001, at the peak of the dot-com crash. 
Apple Inc., the largest U.S. company by market cap, is suffering its worst 2-day selloff since 2013, shedding over $500 billion in value alone. The carnage has erased trillions of dollars in paper wealth, hammering retirement accounts, mutual funds, and 401(k) balances across the country.
<h3 class="wp-block-heading">It's DeepSeek, Not Tariffs, Bessent Claims</h3>
Bessent insists the real trigger was not Trump's universal tariff plan but a reassessment of U.S. tech valuations following China's DeepSeek AI breakthrough. 
In his words, the sell-off "started with DeepSeek," suggesting that Wall Street had priced in AI dominance prematurely and is now correcting that assumption.
"This isn't about tariffs, it's about a dose of reality in the AI space."
<h3 class="wp-block-heading">Bessent Defends Tariff Revolution</h3>
&#8220;This is transformational for the American economy, the American worker, and the new Republican alignment," Bessent said.
Bessent didn't shy away from defending the economic rationale. He cited new MIT research showing that the Trump administration's original 20% tariffs on China only lifted U.S. prices by 0.7%, suggesting that foreign producers absorbed much of the impact.
Bessent emphasized that tariffs are about more than just economics—they&#8217;re about security. "Economic security is national security," he said, referencing COVID-19 as a wake-up call that exposed the fragility of global supply chains.
 "We don't make our own medicine, our own chips, or our own ships," Bessent noted, advocating for reshoring critical industries to prevent strategic vulnerabilities.
The administration's long-term strategy, according to Bessent, is to use tariffs as a bridge: boost revenue in the short run while incentivizing companies to build domestically, thereby reducing the need for tariffs altogether. 
"First, we collect. Then, we build. Then, the tariffs drop—but revenue from taxes and jobs goes up."
&#8220;We&#8217;re pushing to get the tax bill done so we can guarantee the low taxes,&#8221; he added. 
Bessent dismissed the threat of retaliation from global trading partners, indicating that surplus nations like China and Germany are in no position to strike back effectively.
"We are the debtor nation. We have the trade deficits. The surplus nation is in the weaker position," Bessent said, asserting that China's economic model—heavily reliant on exports—is "the most unbalanced in the history of the modern world."
"I think President Trump has broken their business model with these tariffs," he said. 
"They [China] can't survive without it [the surplus]."
"I think the Europeans are going to have to rebalance, too," he noted, pointing to Germany's overdependence on exports and expensive energy policies as unsustainable.
<h3 class="wp-block-heading">Market Reactions</h3>
Stocks deepened their decline in afternoon trading in New York, with investors finding little comfort from either fiscal or monetary leaders. 
Earlier in the day, Fed Chair Jerome Powell reaffirmed that the central bank is in a strong position and sees no urgency to begin cutting interest rates.
The S&amp;P 500 index – as tracked by the SPDR S&amp;P 500 ETF Trust (NYSE:<a class="ticker" href="https://www.benzinga.com/stock/SPY#NYSE">SPY</a>) – is down 5%, on track for its worst day in five years.
The tech-heavy Nasdaq 100 – tracked by the Invesco QQQ Trust (NASDAQ:<a class="ticker" href="https://www.benzinga.com/stock/QQQ#NASDAQ">QQQ</a>) – sunk 5.1%, eyeing its worst day since March 2020.
Within Magnificent Seven stocks, Tesla fell 9.8%, followed by Nvidia&#8217;s 7.2% decline.

RXO shares are trading lower after Oppenheimer downgraded the stock from Outperform to Perform.

Arvinas, Inc.&nbsp;(NASDAQ:<a class="ticker" href="https://www.benzinga.com/stock/ARVN#NASDAQ">ARVN</a>) unveiled first-in-human data on Friday for its experimental Parkinson&#8217;s <a target="_blank" href="https://www.benzinga.com/general/health-care" rel="noreferrer noopener">disease treatment, ARV-102</a>.
Results from the randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled single ascending dose (SAD) cohort of the Phase 1 healthy volunteer trial and initial results from the multiple ascending dose (MAD) cohort were shared in a presentation at the 2025 International Conference on <a target="_blank" href="https://www.benzinga.com/pressreleases/25/04/g44643711/arvinas-presents-first-in-human-data-for-investigational-oral-protac-arv-102-demonstrating-blood-b" rel="noreferrer noopener">Alzheimer&#8217;s and Parkinson&#8217;s Diseases</a>.
The Phase 1 trial included SAD cohorts from 10 mg to 200 mg and MAD cohorts of 10 mg to 80 mg in healthy volunteers.
In the trial ARV-102, the company&#8217;s investigational PROteolysis TArgeting Chimera (PROTAC) leucine-rich repeat kinase 2 (LRRK2) degrader, demonstrated substantial reduction of LRRK2, a multifunctional protein that has been implicated in Parkinson&#8217;s disease and progressive supranuclear palsy (PSP), in cerebral spinal fluid (CSF).

The trial also showed an encouraging safety/tolerability profile and favorable pharmacodynamic outcomes.
A single oral dose of at least 60 mg ARV-102 induced more than 50% reduction of LRRK2 protein in cerebrospinal fluid and over 90% reduction in peripheral blood mononuclear cells.
While LRRK2 is primarily known for its role in Parkinson&#8217;s, Arvinas noted that emerging evidence suggests it also plays a role in tauopathies, including progressive supranuclear palsy (PSP).
Arvinas added that early data suggest the drug was well tolerated. Data from 47 volunteers across all SAD dose levels showed the most common treatment-related issues were headaches (17.1%) and fatigue (8.6%), although fatigue was more common among placebo recipients (25%).
In the fourth quarter of 2024, Arvinas initiated dosing in the SAD cohort of the Phase 1 clinical trial with ARV-102 in patients with Parkinson&#8217;s disease.
The company expects to complete enrollment and present initial data from the ongoing SAD cohort of the Phase 1 trial in patients with Parkinson&#8217;s disease and initiate the MAD cohort of the Phase 1 clinical trial in patients with Parkinson&#8217;s disease in 2025.

It likely doesn&#8217;t help that significant market volatility is expected this week as markets await several key economic releases and <a href="https://www.benzinga.com/news/global/25/04/44585626/trump-aides-draft-sweeping-20-tariffs-on-at-least-most-imports-report">President Donald Trump&#8216;s Wednesday tariff announcement</a>.
According to Kronos Research CEO Hank Huang, the impact of the anticipated fresh tariffs on the market will likely depend on how other countries respond.
&#8220;Trump&#8217;s reciprocal tariffs take effect on April 2, injecting volatility into the crypto market as investors react to macroeconomic uncertainty. A potential dip in the USD could bolster confidence in risk-on assets like BTC, but much depends on whether other nations respond with more retaliation or negotiation,&#8221; he wrote in a <a href="https://x.com/KronosResearch/status/1906942599065428410?t=7Hy0hdlqvuldYFntyobjkg&amp;s=19">note</a> shared on Tuesday.
Nonetheless, at the time of writing, Bitcoin is trading near $85,000, representing a nearly 2% increase over the past 24 hours in an okay start to a month that has typically been positive for the asset. For context, the asset has closed April with profits seven out of 12 years, boasting an average gain of 12% overall.
Time will tell whether Bitcoin can extend this stretch to eight out of 13.

Bitcoin In Asymmetric Demand Zone, Says Analyst: Here's What It Means For BTC Price

Shares of major Europe-related ETFs are trading lower as global markets continue to decline following President Trump's announcement of sweeping tariffs.

J.P. Morgan analyst Ken Goldman reiterated the Neutral rating on Lamb Weston Holdings, Inc. (NYSE:<a class="ticker" href="https://www.benzinga.com/stock/LW#NYSE">LW</a>) on Thursday, <a href="https://www.benzinga.com/quote/LW/analyst-ratings" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">raising the price forecast from $65 to $66.</a>
Goldman cited medium-term risks tied to an ongoing supply and demand imbalance in the French fry market.
Yesterday, the company reported third-quarter adjusted earnings per share of $1.10,&nbsp;<a target="_blank" href="https://www.benzinga.com/news/earnings/25/04/44629158/why-is-frozen-potato-supplier-lamb-weston-stock-gaining-today" rel="noreferrer noopener">beating the analyst consensus estimate of 87 cents. </a>Quarterly sales of $1.521 billion (up 4% year over year) outpaced the street view of $1.492 billion.
The analyst noted that while the industry holds long-term growth potential, current conditions present uncertainty, and visibility beyond the near term remains limited.

The analyst highlighted the difficulty in forecasting Lamb Weston's performance beyond the upcoming quarter due to several uncertainties surrounding fiscal year 2026.
Goldman noted potential upside factors such as new customer contracts, lower potato input costs in North America, greater-than-expected cost savings, and increased share repurchases.
Additionally, the analyst pointed out that FY26 will include an extra week, which could positively affect results.
Meanwhile, Goldman also flagged several risks, including ongoing pricing initiatives to win business without guaranteed cost deflation, persistent challenges in the quick-service restaurant sector, a possible rise in overall fry supply, and uncertainties tied to tariffs.

Lamb Weston May Keep Cutting Prices To Win Back Market Share, But Demand Recovery Remains Uncertain

Rosenblatt analyst Mike Genovese upgraded Coherent Corp (NYSE:<a class="ticker" href="https://www.benzinga.com/stock/COHR#NYSE">COHR</a>) from Neutral to Buy and lowered the <a target="_blank" href="https://www.benzinga.com/quote/COHR/analyst-ratings" rel="noreferrer noopener">price target from</a> $115 to $85 on Friday.
Genovese is upbeat on sequential re-acceleration in AI transceivers by the second half of calendar 2025, driven by the Blackwell rollout and Coherent ZR transceiver demand for Data Center Interconnect (DCI) and telecom application that is very strong.
The analyst is bullish on the transceiver market through 2030 and increasingly views co-packaged optics (CPO) as more of an opportunity than a threat because of new products like Ultra-High-Power (UHP) lasers and Optical Circuit Switches (OCS).

Coherent is also making solid progress in commercializing 200G VCSELs and 100G and 200G EMLs.
Additional reasons for liking Coherent are the strong new CEO, Jim Anderson.
The stock has pulled back to its historical (pre-AI) valuation of under 13 times forward earnings. This likely signals that the buy side believes numbers need to come down due to demand destruction from the new tariffs, including 24% on Malaysian goods.
Genovese did not change estimates, primarily because of the very positive demand messages he heard from companies at the Optical Fiber Conference (OFC) this week. Another reason is that tariffs still seem to be a potentially moving target.
The analyst considers Coherent to be a long-term leader in AI Optics.
Coherent has increased 800G Datacom transceiver revenues every quarter for the last couple of years and now does ~$300 million per quarter in sales. This makes Coherent #2 in global market share after Innolight.
While sequential growth for Coherent in 800G has continued, it has slowed recently.
Investors are now openly discussing Microsoft Corp (NASDAQ:<a class="ticker" href="https://www.benzinga.com/stock/MSFT#NASDAQ">MSFT</a>) <a target="_blank" href="https://www.benzinga.com/news/global/25/04/44645946/microsoft-halts-data-center-expansions-due-to-semiconductor-tariff-concerns-ai-overcapacity-fears" rel="noreferrer noopener">delaying some new</a> Data Center builds.
Nevertheless, the analyst expects Coherent&#8217;s and the overall market&#8217;s 800G Datacom transceiver sales to accelerate in the September and December quarters, driven by attachments to shipments of Blackwell GPUs ordered in the first half of 2025.
In the second quarter of 2025, Coherent&#8217;s Telecom revenues grew 11% year over year, following 17% year over year growth in the first quarter of 2025.
The company noted the strong ramp of new products and said it expects these products to continue to grow over the coming quarters.
Coherent management echoed these sentiments when Genovese met with them this week at OFC.
In addition, Ciena Corp (NYSE:<a class="ticker" href="https://www.benzinga.com/stock/CIEN#NYSE">CIEN</a>) and Cisco Systems, Inc (NASDAQ:<a class="ticker" href="https://www.benzinga.com/stock/CSCO#NASDAQ">CSCO</a>) said that the demand for Hyper-Scale DCI remains incredibly strong at OFC this week. However, any chatter investors hear about Microsoft, in particular, slowing down on some new Data Center investments.
At the OFC meeting, Coherent said it has the vendor&#8217;s most extensive portfolio of CPO components. The company also said CPO equipment is currently 2 to 4 times more expensive than transceiver equipment since it is new and esoteric. Coherent told the analyst it is participating in OCS deployments this year at a significant Hyper Scaler and is engaged in similar planning and bids with others.
According to the analyst&#8217;s checks, Lumentum Holdings Inc (NASDAQ:<a class="ticker" href="https://www.benzinga.com/stock/LITE#NASDAQ">LITE</a>) is still significantly ahead in EML capacity, but Coherent is finally getting close to ramping up its own EML production.
Genovese is confident that Coherent can expand its production of indium phosphide lasers, including EMLs and CWs, over time.
Coherent has manufacturing locations around the world, including Malaysia (24% tariff), China (54% tariff), other Asian countries (tariff rates mostly between Malaysia and China), and Europe (20% tariff).
Genovese projected third-quarter revenue of $1.44 billion and EPS of 85 cents.
Price Action: Coherent stock is down 9% at $49.06 at last check Friday.

Benzinga's 'Stock Whisper' Index: 5 Stocks Investors Secretly Monitor But Don't Talk About Yet

These past three months were not what U.S. <a href="https://www.benzinga.com/topic/mergers-and-acquisitions">dealmakers wanted or expected</a>.
As of April 3, transaction tracker Dealogic showed zero percent growth in U.S.-based M&amp;A volume compared to last year&#8217;s first quarter.
Elsewhere? Volume is spiking triple digits.

<li>The Middle East and Africa combined are seeing 123% growth in M&amp;A.</li>
<li>Japan: 105%</li>
<li>Asia: 103%</li>
</ul>
Deal volume is also up in Canada, Europe and Australia. Only in Latin America is it in the red, with <a href="https://www.benzinga.com/personal-finance/financial-advisors/25/03/44342234/deal-dispatch-trump-ma-boom-is-a-bust-purple-mattress-considers-sale-celtics-auction-heats-up">barely a peep</a> coming from the U.S.
For those keeping track of who correctly predicted this downtrend, don&#8217;t look to Bank of America. After Election Day, the firm&#8217;s <a href="https://www.benzinga.com/analyst-ratings/analyst-color/24/11/41979935/golden-years-for-ma-deals-ahead-under-trump-analysts-highlight-top-10-large-cap-candidates">analysts boldly predicted</a> that the then-incoming Trump administration would remove Federal Trade Commission chair Lina Khan and, presto, the antitrust roadblocks for M&amp;A activity would be removed.
Those analysts were wrong. Just 10 days after Trump&#8217;s inauguration, the U.S. Department of Justice <a href="https://www.benzinga.com/news/legal/25/01/43353124/hewlett-packard-enterprise-shares-fall-as-us-department-of-justice-sues-to-block-juniper-acquisition">sued to block</a> Hewlett Packard Enterprise&#8216;s (NYSE:<a class="ticker" href="https://www.benzinga.com/stock/HPE#NYSE">HPE</a>) $14 billion deal to acquire networking gear maker Juniper Networks. In March, Surmodics, Inc. (NASDAQ:<a class="ticker" href="https://www.benzinga.com/stock/SRDX#NASDAQ">SRDX</a>) <a href="https://julian-34159.medium.com/m-a-malaise-whats-behind-the-2025-deal-slowdown-8471a15b914c">saw its stock price fall</a> after the FTC challenged a proposed acquisition by private equity firm GTCR LLC.
Those BofA analysts also forgot that the previous Trump administration was not particularly lenient regarding consolidation. AT&amp;T and Time Warner; Sinclair and Tribune Media; Broadcom and Qualcomm; DraftKings and FanDuel — <a href="https://www.benzinga.com/news/asset-sales/25/03/44202239/deal-dispatch-tiktok-walgreens-raizen">all blocked</a>.
On the shiny side, gold-related M&amp;A deals have increased, but transaction sizes are much smaller, Benzinga&#8217;s Stjepan Kalinic <a href="https://www.benzinga.com/news/legal/25/03/44490949/gold-ma-deals-are-accelerating-but-average-deals-are-smaller-research-shows">wrote this week</a>.

Based in Amsterdam, TIP Group may attract interest from infrastructure funds and industry peers. I Squared acquired the company in 2018 from HNA Group and has since expanded it through acquisitions, including Trailer Wizards in Canada and Eurotrail UK Ltd. The company was rebranded as TIP Group in 2022.</li>

<li>Bowmark Capital is working with Arma Partners on a potential sale of workforce management software firm Totalmobile, which could be valued at over £500 million ($649 million). A formal sale process may start later this year, according <a href="https://www.bloomberg.com/news/articles/2025-04-02/pe-firm-bowmark-said-to-weigh-500-million-sale-of-totalmobile?sref=TBDibEcD">to</a> Bloomberg. Totalmobile, which provides field service management software, could attract interest from private equity firms and industry players. Bowmark acquired the company in 2020, and deliberations on the sale are still in the early stages.</li>

Echoing that sentiment, crypto trader Ansem <a href="https://x.com/blknoiz06/status/1908197026493587504">remarked</a> after the China news, "and Bitcoin is just chilling in the same spot," underscoring the asset's relative calm.
IncomeSharks drew <a href="https://x.com/IncomeSharks/status/1908191558245257294">attention</a> to Bitcoin's strong green candle and noted that the market has likely absorbed the recent wave of selling. The trader believes crypto now has a real shot at rebounding ahead of stocks — and potentially leading the recovery.
Crypto trader Kevin also <a href="https://x.com/Kev_Capital_TA/status/1908219288801931526">pointed</a> out the timing, emphasizing that Bitcoin is holding in the green while equities continue to bleed. "This definitely hints at a potential capital rotation, or at least a growing narrative shift," he said. He added that the BTC vs. S&amp;P 500 chart will be particularly telling if the divergence persists.
With expectations of monetary easing building and corporate earnings facing pressure, Bitcoin is increasingly being viewed as both a hedge and a speculative opportunity.
It's one of those rare setups, Kevin explained, where "fear plus policy support equals crypto tailwinds." Still, he cautioned that the next few weeks will be critical in determining whether BTC can maintain this strength as equities remain under pressure.
