As previously announced, the Company terminated its VIE arrangements with Hywin Wealth Management on June 28, 2024.
Hywin Wealth Management is a company incorporated in mainland China and wholly owned and controlled by Mr. Han, and is not otherwise related to the Company.
Santech Holdings Limited is not associated with this matter, nor has the Company received any official notice from any government authority as of the date of this announcement.
As Han and Madame Wang are presently unable to fulfill their respective roles as Chairman of the Board and CEO/director of the Company, the Board has appointed Lawrence Wai Lok to the Board, effective immediately.

The annual inflation rate in the Eurozone increased to 2.6% in July from 2.5% in the prior month, while current account surplus rose to €52.4 billion in June from €32.4 billion a year ago. Italy&#8217;s current account surplus widened to EUR 4,885 billion in June from EUR 1,248 billion in the year-ago period. Producer prices in Germany fell by 0.8% year-over-year in July.

Asian markets closed mostly lower on Wednesday, with Japan's Nikkei 225 falling 0.29%, Hong Kong's Hang Seng Index falling 0.69%, China's Shanghai Composite Index falling 0.35% and India's BSE Sensex rising 0.13%.
The annual inflation rate in Hong Kong increased to 2.5% in July from 1.5% in the prior month. The People&#8217;s Bank of China kept key lending rates unchanged at the recent fixing.

US Stocks Higher; Target Posts Upbeat Earnings

Shares of Keysight Technologies, Inc. (NYSE:<a class="ticker" href="https://www.benzinga.com/stock/KEYS#NYSE">KEYS</a>) rose sharply in today's pre-market trading after the company reported stronger-than-expected <a href="https://www.benzinga.com/quote/KEYS/news">results for its third quarter.</a>
The company said it sees fourth-quarter earnings between $1.53 and $1.59 per share, versus the $1.54 estimate, and revenue in a range of $1.245 billion to $1.265 billion, versus the $1.25 billion estimate.

In a report published on Tuesday, Wedbush analyst Betsy Van Hees upgraded sTec (NASDAQ: <a class="ticker" href="/stock/stec#NASDAQ">STEC</a>) from Underperform to Neutral and raised the price target on the company from $3 to $6.85.

	In the report, Wedbush stated, "We are upgrading STEC to a NEUTRAL rating and increasing our price target to $6.85 following Western Digital Corporation's (WDC) surprise announcement that its wholly-owned subsidiary HGST has entered into a definitive agreement to acquire sTec for roughly $340MM in cash or about $6.85 per share."

	sTec closed on Monday at $6.71.
