While the job of a priest or religious figure might seem safe in the world of technology, a church in Switzerland could have other ideas.
Peter's Chapel in Lucerne, Switzerland, unveiled an "experimental art installation" that features a version of Jesus that uses artificial intelligence, as <a href="https://www.vice.com/en/article/ai-jesus-is-now-taking-confessions-at-a-church-in-switzerland/">reported </a>by Vice.
"Visitors share their thoughts and questions in a confessional with a heavenly hologram, where words are only meant for four ears — but without confession. An artificial intelligence that responds aesthetically as Jesus may create a sacred moment," the church's <a href="https://www.kathluzern.ch/mein-engagement/deus-in-machina">website </a>says.
Peter's Chapel theologian Marco Scmid said AI Jesus is an experiment that could help people have a new experience with AI. Schmid said AI Jesus can help people launch forward conversations and could have an advantage to a pastor
Schmid said AI Jesus is accessible "24 hours a day, so he has abilities that pastors don't."

Why It's Important: The church encourages visitors to "share their thoughts and questions" with their version of AI Jesus, but the process shouldn't be construed as official confession.
"Deus in machina encourages us to think critically about the limits of technology in the context of religion," the church said.
German media outlet Deutsche Well <a href="https://www.dw.com/en/switzerlands-ai-jesus-answers-questions-of-faith/video-70737962">said </a>two-thirds of participants they interviewed were impressed with the results of AI Jesus.
While AI Jesus is only a test it comes as artificial intelligence use cases continue to advance and could disrupt multiple sectors globally.

AI Jesus Hears Confessions In Switzerland: Has Artificial Intelligence Gone Too Far?

<a href="https://www.benzinga.com/markets/cryptocurrency/24/10/41341588/donald-trumps-world-liberty-financial-token-sales-hit-220m-in-first-hour-website-faces-mul">World Liberty Financial</a>, a decentralized lending platform backed by allies of President-elect Donald Trump, has announced Tron (CRYPTO: TRON) founder Justin Sun as its new advisor.
What Happened: The decision follows <a href="https://www.benzinga.com/markets/cryptocurrency/24/11/42181280/crypto-billionaire-justin-sun-pledges-30m-investment-in-trump-backed-world-liberty-financial-whats-happening">a $30 million investment</a> by HTX, a crypto exchange closely associated with Sun, according to on-chain data.
"We are thrilled to invest $30 million in World Liberty Financial (@worldlibertyfi) as its largest investor," Sun wrote in a pinned post on X.
"The U.S. is becoming the blockchain hub, and Bitcoin owes it to @realDonaldTrump! TRON is committed to making America great again and leading innovation,&#8221; he added.
World Liberty Financial, launched in September 2014 as an Aave (CRYPTO: <a class="ticker" href="https://www.benzinga.com/quote/aave/usd">AAVE</a>) fork, represents one of Trump's most significant ventures into cryptocurrency.
Once a vocal skeptic of digital assets, the incoming president has <a href="https://www.benzinga.com/markets/cryptocurrency/24/11/42122348/trumps-planned-crypto-council-may-oversee-bitcoin-reserve-report">recently embraced the industry</a>, promising to ease regulations on blockchain innovation and digital assets in the U.S.

Why It Matters: The announcement comes as World Liberty's governance token sale struggles to gain momentum. Initially targeting a $300 million raise, the platform reduced its goal to $30 million in October due to limited demand.
As of Monday, World Liberty had sold $21 million worth of WLFI tokens, with sales restricted to non-U.S. and qualified U.S. investors.
Justin Sun's appointment as an advisor is expected to provide strategic direction for World Liberty Financial.

Sun's blockchain, Tron, remains one of the largest by market capitalization. 
Its TRX token initially launched as an ERC-20 standard before migrating to the native Tron network.

Trump-Linked Crypto Platform World Liberty Financial Appoints Justin Sun As Advisor After $30 Million Investment

Legislative progress on providing veterans with access to <a href="https://www.benzinga.com/topic/psychedelic-assisted-therapies">psychedelic therapies</a> like psilocybin, found in magic mushrooms, hit a roadblock last week as Virginia lawmakers decided not to advance a bill aimed at expanding mental health treatments for veterans. 
As Henrico Citizen <a href="https://www.henricocitizen.com/veteran-use-of-psychedelics-for-mental-health-care-still-up-in-the-air/">reported</a>, the bill, introduced by Sen. Ghazala Hashmi (D-Richmond) and Del. Michael Jones (D-Richmond), sought to create an advisory council that would study how breakthrough therapies could be used to help <a href="https://www.benzinga.com/24/11/41881842/why-do-veterans-deserve-access-to-psychedelic-therapy">reduce veteran suicide rates and treat mental health disorders</a>, including post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD). However, without further action from lawmakers, the bill was left in committee as of November 18, the deadline for bills to be considered from the previous General Assembly session.
<h3 class="wp-block-heading">The Bill</h3>
The <a href="https://lis.virginia.gov/bill-details/20251/HB80?">legislation</a> proposed a deep dive into federal regulations and licensing requirements for breakthrough therapies, which would include substances like <a href="https://www.benzinga.com/topic/psilocybin">psilocybin</a>. While the bill did not explicitly mention psilocybin, it is recognized as a potential breakthrough therapy due to its promising effects on mental health. Studies, including research from Johns Hopkins Medicine, have found that psilocybin helps alleviate symptoms of depression, anxiety and PTSD, and even aids in smoking cessation.
<h3 class="wp-block-heading">Challenges In Rescheduling Psilocybin For Medicinal Use</h3>
Despite <a href="https://www.benzinga.com/markets/cannabis/24/10/41216395/could-psilocybin-be-a-game-changer-for-millions-battling-depression-new-study-says-yes">evidence supporting psilocybin&#8217;s therapeutic potential</a>, it remains a <a href="https://www.benzinga.com/topic/federal-schedule-i">Schedule I substance</a> in Virginia, limiting its medical use. In 2023, a <a href="https://legacylis.virginia.gov/cgi-bin/legp604.exe?231+sum+SB932=&amp;">bill</a> to reschedule it to Schedule III failed. This classification is controversial, especially considering fentanyl, another Schedule I drug, is responsible for most overdose deaths in Virginia, while psilocybin has no overdose-related fatalities.
<h3 class="wp-block-heading">Veterans Call For Better Mental Health Care And Treatment Access</h3>
Del. Jones, whose father was a Vietnam War veteran, voiced frustration at the lack of action. "Veterans deserve any form of effective mental health care they need," said Jones, emphasizing that improving mental health support for veterans should be a priority. He stressed the importance of exploring all treatment options for veterans, acknowledging the struggles some face just getting through daily life. "Every day isn't easy for everybody," Jones remarked. "For some people getting up on Thursday morning is hard as hell, and so, how do we soften that burden?"
Veterans have <a href="https://www.benzinga.com/markets/cannabis/24/10/41320243/massachusetts-veterans-advocate-for-psilocybin-legalization-will-voters-support-them">long advocated for the use of psychedelics</a> to address mental health issues, particularly PTSD, which affects a significant portion of those who have served in the military. Army veteran Anthony Mijares shared his personal testimony about the benefits of psilocybin, stating that it helped him overcome depression and reliance on prescription drugs after his military service. "The military trained me to save people, but it failed to train me on how to heal myself," Mijares said during a 2023 testimony in favor of psilocybin legislation.

<h3 class="wp-block-heading">The Future Of Psychedelic Treatment For Veterans In Virginia</h3>
Despite setbacks at the state level, Jones remains hopeful that future legislative efforts will prioritize veteran mental health and continue to advance research into psychedelic treatments. "We need to be bold," he said, urging that any future administration support scientific research that could improve the lives of veterans.
Whether the issue will resurface in the upcoming legislative session is still uncertain, as neither Jones nor Hashmi have confirmed plans to reintroduce the bill.

Veteran Access To Psychedelic Mental Health Therapies Stalls In Virginia

Smart Approaches to Marijuana (SAM), an active prohibitionist group, has denied allegations of improper communications with the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) ahead of next week&#8217;s <a href="https://www.benzinga.com/topic/cannabis-rescheduling">cannabis rescheduling</a> hearing.
SAM's Nov. 25 legal response dismissed the claims as unfounded and aimed at distracting from the proceedings, <a href="https://www.marijuanamoment.net/dea-says-it-didnt-conspire-with-anti-marijuana-group-dismissing-allegedly-illegal-talks-as-gossip/">reported</a> Marijuana Moment.
The hearings, scheduled to begin Dec. 2, will explore the Department of Justice's proposed rule to reschedule cannabis from a Schedule I to a Schedule III drug under the Controlled Substances Act (CSA). The proposal follows recommendations from the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services and the Food and Drug Administration.
<h3 class="wp-block-heading">SAM Pushes Back On Collusion Allegations</h3>
The allegations, raised in a <a href="https://www.benzinga.com/markets/cannabis/24/11/41726679/village-farms-is-only-cannabis-operator-selected-to-represent-weed-industry-at-dea-rescheduling-">joint motion</a> by cannabis company Village Farms International (NASDAQ:<a class="ticker" href="https://www.benzinga.com/stock/VFF#NASDAQ">VFF</a>) and veterans group Hemp for Victory, sought to disqualify SAM and the DEA from participating in the hearings. 
SAM, one of 25 designated participants, countered that the motion was a baseless attempt to smear its reputation.
"This motion is a transparent effort to smear both SAM and the DEA," SAM's lawyers, Patrick F. Philbin and Chase Harrington, wrote.

The U.S.-based auto manufacturers have slumped in recent quarters; all three traded well in the red on Tuesday after Trump&#8217;s announcement. Tariffs on automobiles would likely leave Americans paying more for cars.
Mexican stocks also performed poorly on Tuesday; the iShares MSCI Mexico ETF (NYSE:<a class="ticker" href="https://www.benzinga.com/stock/EWW#NYSE">EWW</a>) traded down over 3% following Trump&#8217;s announcement.
Trump ally Bill Ackman seemed to not take the President-elect at his word. The billionaire hedge fund manager suggested the tariffs are <a href="https://www.benzinga.com/etfs/currency-etfs/24/11/42190765/trumps-tariff-threats-slam-mexican-peso-canadian-dollar-only-the-beginning-of-a-sorely-needed-repricing-expert-warns">&#8220;a weapon&#8221;</a> and won&#8217;t be implemented. 
Trump did implement tariffs against China during his first term; the Tax Foundation later <a href="https://taxfoundation.org/research/all/federal/tariffs/">estimated</a> that Americans incurred $80 billion in taxes from the tariffs.
Republican megadonor and Citadel CEO Ken Griffin has a <a href="https://www.benzinga.com/news/global/24/11/42056528/gop-megadonor-ken-griffin-warns-of-slippery-slope-in-trumps-tariff-plans-sees-us-returning-to-the-business-of-business">less favorable view</a> of Trump&#8217;s policy, calling tariffs a &#8220;slippery slope&#8221; that will hurt U.S. companies.
Most economists say tariffs are regressive taxes that disproportionately hurt poor Americans while stifling economic growth. Trump&#8217;s adoption of pro-tariff policies is a stark contrast to the free trade policies championed by Republican President Ronald Reagan during the 1980s.

Will Trump Lead US Into Trade War With Mexico? President Claudia Sheinbaum Rebukes Threats

For almost two years now, stocks that tap into the global $15.7 trillion AI revolution have surged so quickly, the media has a nickname for them: the "Magnificent Seven."
But there's a problem with the "Magnificent Seven"—the dividends that they offer investors are extremely stingy, as management prefers to devote hundreds of billions of dollars towards research and development.
Apple Inc. (AAPL), for instance, pays a dividend of just 0.5%. Microsoft Inc. (MSFT)'s dividend of 0.95% is well below the S&amp;P 500 average of 1.29%. Nvidia Inc. (NVDA) pays just&nbsp; 0.03% dividend yield—not a typo—and Tesla Motors (TSLA) and Alphabet (GOOG) pay nothing at all.
But there's a little-known way to claim much bigger quarterly payouts from the AI revolution—thanks to three companies that collect billions of dollars in "rent" from the Magnificent Seven.
AI Income Machine No. 1: Prologis Inc. (PLD)
Headquartered in San Francisco, California, Prologis Inc. (PLD) is a real estate investment trust that leases over 1.2 billion square feet worldwide to some of the world's biggest names, including Amazon.
The company's business of leasing office and retail space to various tech firms is so lucrative, it has a profit margin of 37.4% as of Q3/2024. For context, Apple has a profit margin of 24%.
Not only that, but PLD is growing earnings at a robust clip. The company grew earnings by 34.5% last quarter, and was able to raise its dividend by 10.3% in 2024.
Since 2019, PLD has nearly doubled its dividend while increasing payouts every year. It now offers a 3.2% dividend yield that is more than double the S&amp;P 500… and larger than the yields of all the "Magnificent Seven" stocks combined.
AI Income Machine No. 2: Alexandria Real Estate Inc. (ARE)
Headquartered in Pasadena, California, Alexandria Real Estate Inc. (ARE) is a company that leases 47 million square feet of office and retail space to companies in San Francisco, Boston, New York City, Austin, Seattle, and Washington D.C.
ARE has grown operating income by 299% since 2014—and it's no accident that its rise has been strongly correlated with the tech boom that's unfolded since.
ARE's string of lucrative deals in the tech sector contributed to its monster earnings growth of 592% last quarter—and helped it increase its dividend by 29% since 2019.
Alexandria Real Estate pays a yield of 4.8% as of this writing, which thrashes the average company on the S&amp;P 500 and, like PLD, is a higher yield than that of all the Magnificent Seven companies combined.

3 "AI Income Machines" Leaving the Magnificent Seven in the Dust

Cheating complaints are piling up in <a href="https://www.benzinga.com/general/gaming/24/10/41662426/black-ops-6-shatters-records-call-of-dutys-biggest-launch-drives-60-sales-spike">Call of Duty: Black Ops 6</a> just days after the launch of its ranked multiplayer mode on Nov. 21. 
Activision responded with details about its anti-cheat efforts, but players are voicing frustration over what they see as persistent issues undermining the game's competitive integrity.
<h1 class="wp-block-heading">Activision Responds To Cheating Concerns</h1>
In a recent tweet, Microsoft Corp.&#8216;s (NASDAQ:<a class="ticker" href="https://www.benzinga.com/stock/MSFT#NASDAQ">MSFT</a>) Activision said its anti-cheat team, Team Ricochet, is conducting "hourly sweeps" to remove cheaters from ranked play and leaderboards. The company reported over 19,000 account bans since the mode went live and announced improvements to its <a href="https://www.benzinga.com/general/gaming/24/10/41435803/activisions-new-ai-strategy-aims-to-ban-call-of-duty-cheaters-within-one-hour-of-their-first-match">AI systems to speed up enforcement.</a>

Despite these claims, skepticism has been widespread among the community. Nadeshot, founder of 100 Thieves, took to social media to criticize the company, calling the statement "complete propaganda."
"I have played the same cheaters since day one and not a single one has even a scratch on ‘em," he tweeted. "How could there possibly be 19K accounts banned when the most egregious abusers are giving us the middle finger on the leaderboard? Are we crazy? What is going on?"
<h1 class="wp-block-heading">A Longstanding Problem For Activision</h1>
Cheating has been a thorn in the side of the Call of Duty franchise for years, especially since the explosive popularity of Warzone in 2020. Activision has poured resources into combating the issue, from introducing the<a href="https://www.benzinga.com/general/gaming/24/01/36664783/activision-alerts-call-of-duty-players-anti-cheat-tech-will-ban-aim-assist-ranked-play-will-face-d"> Ricochet anti-cheat </a>system to taking legal action against cheat developers.
Before Black Ops 6 launched, Activision promised faster detection and removal of cheaters, aiming to remove offenders within an hour of their first match. Ricochet's kernel-level driver, paired with machine-learning systems, was designed to detect and neutralize cheats such as aim bots more effectively.
"The people behind cheats are organized, illegal groups that pick apart every piece of data within our games to look for some way to make cheating possible," Activision said in a statement last month. "These bad guys are not just some script kiddies poking around with code they found online. They are a collective who profit from exploiting the hard work of game developers across the industry."
Despite these measures, ranked play has already become another battleground for cheaters, prompting many console players to disable crossplay to avoid PC opponents.

Shineco&nbsp;(NASDAQ:<a href="https://investorplace.com/stock-quotes/sisi-stock-quote/">SISI</a>) stock is falling hard on Friday after the agricultural produce company announced the <a href="https://finance.yahoo.com/news/shineco-announces-pricing-2-million-120000343.html">pricing of a public offering</a> for its shares.



This public offering has Shineco selling 1,869,160 shares of SISI stock for $1.07 each. The offering also includes a 45-day option for underwriters to acquire another 280,374 shares at the public offering price.



Shineco is expecting $2 million in gross proceeds from this public offering. The sole book-running manager for the offering is EF Hutton LLC.



<h2>How This Affects SISI Stock</h2>



A public offering increases the total number of outstanding shares on the market. Doing so also dilutes the stakes of current investors in the company. This is one of the reasons why shares of SISI stock are falling today.



On top of that, traders likely aren&rsquo;t happy about the $1.07 price for shares in the offering. That&rsquo;s below the prior closing price of $2.12 per share for SISI stock. It makes sense the stock would fall alongside this discounted public offering price.



SISI stock is down 53.8% as of Friday morning. However, the shares were up 76.7% year-to-date when markets closed on Thursday.
