At their meeting held today, the Board of Directors of Chesapeake Utilities Corporation (NYSE:<a class="ticker" href="https://www.benzinga.com/stock/CPK#NYSE">CPK</a>) voted to increase the quarterly cash dividend on the Company's common stock from $0.64 per share to $0.685 per share. The Board's action raises the 2025 annualized dividend by $0.18 from $2.56 to $2.74 per share, a 7 percent increase. The $0.685 per share dividend will be payable July 7, 2025 to all shareholders of record at the close of business on June 16, 2025.

The key takeaway from the event is the company's portfolio of software products and services being "integral to large enterprise customers as they leverage AI across their organizations," according to Goldman Sachs.
The IBM Analyst: <a href="https://www.benzinga.com/analyst-stock-ratings/analyst/5805f8a2846faa000106ab15/james-schneider">Analyst James Schneider</a> maintained a Buy rating and price target of $270.
The IBM Thesis: The company launched LinuxONE 5, which enables 450 billion secure AI inference operations per day, Schneider said in the note.

The company also introduced an upgraded watsonx.data, which taps unstructured data to increase accuracy of AI agents, he added.
"CEO Arvind Krishna noted that AI is shifting from experimentation to delivering measurable business value, with an emphasis on productivity and cost efficiency," the analyst wrote.
IBM projected that AI agents could power 30% of the one billion new applications by 2028, he further stated.
By applying its AI solutions internally, the company can "support ongoing margin expansion and FCF growth &#8211; even as it executes on M&amp;A," Schneider said.
IBM Price Action: Shares of IBM were up 1.1% to $252.02 at the time of publication on Wednesday.

Chardan Research initiated coverage on Praxis Precision Medicines, Inc. (NASDAQ:<a class="ticker" href="https://www.benzinga.com/stock/PRAX#NASDAQ">PRAX</a>) on Wednesday, citing the potential of its <a href="https://www.benzinga.com/general/health-care" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">epilepsy franchise</a>.
Analyst Rudy Li writes, &#8220;Epilepsy remains one of our favorite markets in the CNS space, and we view Praxis as a diversified play in epilepsy, with a portfolio of products leveraging validated drug targets.&#8221;
Praxis had $472.0 million in cash, cash equivalents, and marketable securities as of March 31, which is expected to fund operations into 2028.

The Independent Data Monitoring Committee recommended stopping the study for futility. The results are unlikely to meet the primary efficacy endpoint.

Chardan is optimistic <a target="_blank" href="https://www.benzinga.com/general/biotech/24/03/37941441/why-praxis-precision-medicines-stock-is-trading-higher-tuesday" rel="noreferrer noopener">about vormatrigine&#8217;s (formerly PRAX-628) potential</a> in treating major types of epilepsy, especially focal onset seizures and generalized epilepsy, with possible peak sales over $1 billion.

<li>As a next-generation sodium channel modulator, vormatrigine stands out from older drugs and current standard treatments because of its strong potency and targeted action, which could lead to better effectiveness and fewer side effects.</li>
<li>Early trials showed it has a wide safety margin, and a separate study showed high response rates in patients with light-triggered seizures.</li>
</ul>
Talking about Praxis&#8217;s elsunersen, an antisense product, Chardan writes that the product could become the first disease-modifying therapy for the treatment of SCN2A Gain-of-Function (GoF) DEE, which is a rare indication (~2K patients)

Applovin Corp (NASDAQ:<a class="ticker" href="https://www.benzinga.com/stock/APP#NASDAQ">APP</a>) shares are facing selling pressure again after short seller Muddy Waters Research released a bearish report on the company, which follows an initial <a href="https://www.benzinga.com/trading-ideas/movers/25/03/44524167/applovin-shares-fall-20-following-muddy-waters-report-on-alleged-platform-violations-whats-going-on">short report from March</a>. 
What To Know: AppLovin shares sold off in March after Muddy Waters announced a short position, calling AppLovin &#8220;another scammy adtech company&#8221; that relies on retargeting for e-commerce conversions.
AppLovin executives responded to the short report in a <a href="https://www.applovin.com/blog/note-from-our-ceo-2/">blog post</a> that Muddy Waters says includes &#8220;demonstrably false&#8221; statements. The company also hired a law firm to perform &#8220;an independent review and investigation into recent short report activity targeting the Company.&#8221;
Muddy Waters on Wednesday alleged that AppLovin continues to use persistent identifiers that violate user privacy and partner&#8217;s terms of service, which AppLovin executives denied in a subsequent <a href="https://www.applovin.com/blog/how-we-drive-value-and-handle-data/">blog post</a>, the short seller said. 
Benzinga has reached out to AppLovin for comment on the report. 
&#8220;On March 31, Foroughi denied that APP creates or uses persistent identity graphs (PIGs) for users who decline IDFA cross &#8211; application tracking. On May 1, APP re-upped Foroughi's lie by recycling his March 31 post in a newsletter to stakeholders,&#8221; Muddy Waters said. 
&#8220;This presentation and the accompanying video show records of web and application traffic that prove these claims to be utterly false. We show that persistent identifiers are created, disguised, and applied to track users across domains and applications.&#8221;

Muddy Waters Doubles Down On AppLovin In New Short Report Ahead Of Q1 Earnings

Shares of DoorDash Inc. (NASDAQ:<a class="ticker" href="https://www.benzinga.com/stock/DASH#NASDAQ">DASH</a>) tanked in early trading on Wednesday after the company announced downbeat first-quarter sales on Tuesday.

Wedbush On DoorDash
<a href="https://www.benzinga.com/analyst-stock-ratings/analyst/58459503ee7bf6000154d075/scott-devitt">Analyst Scott Devitt</a> maintained a Neutral rating while raising the price target from $190 to $200.
DoorDash's revenue grew 20.7% year-on-year to $3.0 billion but came in below Street expectations of 22.8% growth, Devitt said in a note. He added, however, that the company's Gross Order Value (GOV) grew by $23.1 billion, ahead of consensus estimates of $22.9 billion.
Management guided to GOV growth in the range of 18.2%-20.2% for the second quarter, beating consensus by around 90 basis points at the midpoint "as the company continues to execute on its growth initiatives across international markets and new verticals," the analyst stated. "Despite ongoing macro uncertainty in the US, we are encouraged by the growth trajectory for the full year implied by the strength of the 2Q GOV guide," he further wrote.

Needham On DoorDash
<a href="https://www.benzinga.com/analyst-stock-ratings/analyst/587635595064ed000140010c/scott-berg">Analyst Bernie McTernan</a> reaffirmed a Buy rating, while lifting the price target from $225 to $230.
McTernan said DoorDash announced the acquisitions of UK-based Deliveroo and hospitality software operator SevenRooms. While Deliveroo helps the company expand its total addressable market, SevenRooms complements the capabilities of its commerce platform.
DoorDash generated 19.9% year-on-year GOV growth in the first quarter and guided to 19.2% growth in the second quarter, the analyst stated. The company's better bookings performance is being driven by investments in affordability, which could pressure margins in the near-term margin but "should pay off over the long-term given the higher order frequency and retention of DashPass subscribers," he wrote.
Cantor Fitzgerald On DoorDash
<a href="https://www.benzinga.com/analyst-stock-ratings/analyst/596f57cb35f48b00011db3ec/deepak-mathivanan">Analyst Deepak Mathivanan</a> reiterated an Overweight rating and price target of $210.
DoorDash first-quarter performance and second-quarter guidance reflect that "fundamentals remain solid," Mathivanan said. The company's guidance GOV growth guidance indicates "relatively stable growth rates," while its EBITDA outlook "points to healthy incremental margins and steady margin expansion," he added.
The analyst wrote that DoorDash will likely exhibit "better resiliency during macro volatility.&#8221; The recently announced acquisitions of Deliveroo and SevenRooms should enable the company to expand into new geographies and "enhance the platforms&#8217; restaurant services," he stated.
DASH Price Action: At the time of publication on Wednesday, shares of DoorDash had declined by 6.14% to $178.44.

What To Know: Eos reported a loss of 17 cents, beating the consensus estimate of a 21 cent-loss. In addition, the company reported sales of $10.46 million, beating the consensus estimate of $10.40 million and representing a 58% year-over-year increase.
The company ended the quarter with $111.7 million in cash. It also reported a commercial opportunity pipeline of $15.6 billion.
