This infinite workday "starts early, mostly in email, and quickly swells to a focus-sapping flood of messages, meetings, and interruptions," the report says.&nbsp;
An average employee is online by six am, reviewing a fraction of the 117 emails they'll receive that day. By the time they're entering peak productivity hours, between 9 a.m. and 11 a.m. and again between 1 p.m. and 3 p.m., they're knee-deep in meetings and receiving workflow interruptions every two minutes.&nbsp;
Things aren't winding down in the evening, either. Microsoft's data shows that there has been a 16% increase in meetings after 8 p.m. year-over-year. Additionally, the average employee receives 50+ teams messages outside of core work hours.

"AI can give us the leverage to redesign the rhythm of work, refocus our teams on new and differentiating work, and fix what has become a seemingly infinite workday. The question isn't whether work will change. It's whether we will," the report reads.
Outsourcing mundane tasks is a good place to start. "By deploying AI and agents to streamline low-value tasks—status meetings, routine reports, admin churn—leaders can reclaim time for what moves the business: deep work, fast decisions, and focused execution," the report says.
But it's "agent bosses" or "human agent teams" that are the real future of work, the report says. The global cryptocurrency market capitalization stood at $3.27 trillion, following a modest decline of 0.67% in the last 24 hours.
Stocks closed higher on Thursday. The Dow Jones Industrial Average climbed 404.41 points, or 0.94%, to end at 43,386.84. The S&amp;P 500 ascended 0.8% to close the session at 6,141.02, within touching distance of its all-time closing high. The tech-focused Nasdaq Composite added 0.97% to end at 20,167.91.
White House spokesperson Karoline Leavitt <a href="https://www.youtube.com/live/NKl2dpLylK0?feature=shared">told </a>reporters that the <a href="https://www.benzinga.com/25/05/45603240/trump-agrees-to-extend-50-tariffs-on-europe-until-july-9-it-was-my-privilege-to-do-so">July 9 tariff deal deadline</a> is "not critical" and that it could be extended, but that&#8217;s a decision for President Donald Trump to make.

According to blockchain analytics firm Santiment, the number of wallets holding at least 10 BTC jumped to its highest level since mid-March, signaling high institutional interest.
"As markets have been volatile, smart money has accumulated on most retail panic sell cycles," Santiment added.

<li>Civil Rights Struggles: Boomers witnessed the fight for racial equality unfold in real time, including marches, riots, and assassinations.</li>
<li>Political Violence: The killings of Martin Luther King Jr., John F. Kennedy, and Robert F. Kennedy marked their formative years.</li>
<li>Student Activism and Repression: <a href="https://www.benzinga.com/news/politics/25/06/45938132/us-marines-detain-civilian-in-los-angeles-amid-immigration-protests-first-known-incident-of-its-kind-report">Protests</a> against the Vietnam War, civil unrest, and clashes with authorities left many skeptical of unchecked power.</li>

<a href="https://www.benzinga.com/news/politics/25/06/46042114/heres-why-mark-cuban-declined-to-be-considered-for-kamala-harris-vp">Cuban</a> emphasized that Boomers aren't better or worse than younger generations — just differently shaped. "Each successive generation saw technology make each of our experiences a little bit more individualized," he wrote. "Today, we all have our own algorithm feeding us what monetizes us the best."
With that personalization comes fragmented perspectives — and fewer shared stories like the ones that unified the Boomer generation.
<h2 class="wp-block-heading">A Call for Leadership That Unites, Not Divides</h2>
Rather than dwell on these differences, Cuban ended with a plea for national unity. "That's why this country truly needs leaders who want to bring us together as a country," he wrote — leaders who aren't motivated by party loyalty, personal gain, or power, but by a deep commitment to the American people.
"Our President is the one thing we all have in common," Cuban added. His message: if we want to move forward, we'll need someone who can reach across generational lines — and bring all Americans to the same table.
