SPDR S&amp;P 500 ETF Trust (SPY)
SPY is currently auctioning near our level of 595.14. For the bulls to maintain control, we want to see a firm move higher toward 596.57. If buyers can sustain momentum above 596.57, we will be watching for them to bring the auction up to 598.04. Should 598.04 establish as dependable support, the path could open for buyers to press toward 599.24. If demand remains strong through the session, we would look for the price to challenge the high bull target of 600.51.&nbsp;
If 595.14 loses footing as support, the bears may start pushing toward 593.73. Should we see sellers take charge there, the next lower test would likely come in at 592.00. If this level sees further weakness and breaks down, the door opens for sellers to target deeper support at 589.71. In an aggressive downside scenario today, we would monitor for potential drives toward the low bear target at 587.31.
Invesco QQQ Trust Series 1 (QQQ)
The QQQ is currently auctioning around 527.03. For bulls to keep momentum, we'd like to see price action step up above 528.44 and hold that level securely. If buyers control that zone, the next target would be 530.70 as an important support zone. Should the auction remain strong, advancing further upside to 532.52 would be on watch. If bullish enthusiasm continues, a push toward 533.70 is possible, with an ultimate high bull target today at 534.60.&nbsp;
If bulls fail to maintain ground above 527.03, bears may look to press the auction down toward 525.19. Should this level give way, further selling could drive a test toward 523.91. Continued downward momentum would bring 522.57 into play as key support. If this fails under sustained pressure, the low bear target for today would be a move to 521.15.
Apple Inc. (AAPL)
Apple is currently auctioning around 202.29. For bulls to gain traction, we want to see them push the price above 203.48 and establish that as support. Continued buying momentum could then take the auction up toward 204.33. If bulls can maintain strength above there, we'd look for further movement to 205.54. In a strong buy-side session, Apple could climb toward the high bull target at 206.55. If 202.29 cannot be defended as support, bears are likely to probe lower toward 200.53.&nbsp;
If selling pressure persists there, we'd anticipate a test at 199.51. Continued downside action could then see a move toward 198.79. Should sellers dominate the session, a potential move toward the low bear target at 198.22 would be in focus.
Microsoft Corp. (MSFT)
Microsoft is currently auctioning around 469.28. For bulls to stay in control, they need to see price climb and hold above 469.94. If this level becomes support, we expect the auction to push toward 470.77. Continued strength above that zone could invite buyers to target 472.11. If momentum builds through the session, the high bull target for Microsoft today is set at 472.91.&nbsp;
If 469.28 cannot hold firm during the session, we would expect bears to initiate a move lower toward 468.61. If this level breaks under selling pressure, the next downside test would likely come at 467.65. Continued weakness could expose 466.44 to sellers. In a heavy selling environment, bears may aim for a move toward the low bear target of 464.70.
NVIDIA Corporation (NVDA)
NVIDIA is currently auctioning around the key level of 140.28. For bulls to control the tape, they will want to push price above 141.21 and confirm it as support. A hold above this level could lead to an advance toward 142.35. If buyers continue to show strength, we'd expect a rally toward 144.21. The high bull target for NVIDIA today stands at 145.61.&nbsp;
If 140.28 does not hold as support, the bears may look to test down toward 139.42. If selling builds momentum below that level, the next key support would come into play at 138.55. Continued downside action could bring 137.94 into focus. If the session unfolds with heavy selling, the low bear target of 136.98 would be the next area to watch.
Alphabet Inc Class A (GOOGL)
Alphabet is currently auctioning near our level of 169.34. For buyers to remain in control, they will need to hold 169.34 and work the auction higher toward 171.14. If bullish momentum persists above that level, we would look for a potential move toward 172.28, which is today's high bull target for Alphabet.&nbsp;
If the auction cannot maintain support at 169.34, we'd expect bears to press down toward 167.04. A breakdown of this level would open the door for sellers to test 165.41. If selling remains aggressive, the bears may ultimately target the low bear level of 163.79.
Meta Platforms Inc (NASDAQ:<a class="ticker" href="https://www.benzinga.com/stock/META#NASDAQ">META</a>)
Meta is currently auctioning near 689.09. For bulls to retain control, we'd like to see 689.09 hold as a solid support zone and for the auction to push higher toward 692.10. Should that level convert to support, the next area we'd monitor is 695.62. If the buy-side remains dominant, today's high bull target is set at 699.93.&nbsp;
If bulls cannot keep 689.09 supported, bears could take advantage and drive the auction lower toward 683.97. If this level gives way under pressure, we'd look for sellers to test 679.79. Should further downside occur, the bears could target 676.46 as the low bear level for today's session.
Tesla Inc. (TSLA)
Tesla is currently auctioning near 296.44. If bulls want to stay in charge, they will need to push price toward 298.28. If momentum holds above there, the next target would be a move toward 300.56. If buying pressure accelerates, we'd expect a test of 304.24, with the high bull target today standing at 310.17.&nbsp;
If the 296.44 level fails to act as support, bears are likely to test the next downside level at 294.60. If that zone is breached, sellers may drive the auction toward 293.21. Continued weakness could open the path for a deeper move toward 290.47, which marks today's low bear target for Tesla.

This morning brings a critical data point with the release of May's Non-Farm Payrolls report at 8:30 AM ET. Chan explained in the TikTok video that if you save $300 per month for 40 years, you end up with $156,000 in your savings account. That's not bad, and your account can be higher if you put the cash in a high-yield savings account.&nbsp;
However, inflation will reduce your money's purchasing power. A $156,000 balance won't be worth as much in 40 years as it's worth today. That's why Chan suggests investing your extra money, and he makes a compelling case.
If you took the same $300 per month and invested it in assets that produced a 10% annualized return, you would end up with $1.8 million after 40 years. That's a seismic difference. While you have to take more risks as an investor, the payoff is far more rewarding if you pick good assets. Luckily, investors can choose from several mutual funds and ETFs that make investing more accessible and simpler.

Although investing your money can help you achieve your financial goals far quicker than if you only stick the money in your savings account, you shouldn't rush to make regular investments. If you invest every dollar you make, you will have to pull money from your brokerage account to cover emergency expenses.
Instead of contending with that scenario, Chan suggests setting up a six-month emergency fund before contributing to a portfolio. That way, you know that you can cover surprise expenses without resorting to selling stocks.&nbsp;
You can calculate how much you need by multiplying your monthly expenses by six. Consumers can reduce their monthly expenses and make long-term changes to their budget to reduce how much they need in their savings accounts before they can invest. Putting money into a high-yield savings account can also help it reach six months' worth of expenses sooner.

That's the approach Chan suggests in his video, and it gives your money the opportunity to multiply in the long run. The stock market has produced many millionaires and is a popular avenue for retirement.&nbsp;
Investing after establishing an emergency fund also builds momentum. You may feel inspired when your portfolio goes up and strive to invest a higher percentage of each paycheck into your brokerage account. While stocks aren't the only asset available, this asset class is one of the most liquid and accessible options. Real estate is another valuable asset class, but most properties require a lot of capital just for the down payment.

Lululemon reported first-quarter revenue of $2.37 billion, beating the consensus estimate of $2.36 billion, according to Benzinga Pro.

Founders hear &#8220;no&#8221; a lot. Sometimes it&#8217;s a quick pass, sometimes it&#8217;s silence after a promising call. But in venture, saying &#8220;no&#8221; is part of the job &#8211; most investors back fewer than <a href="https://www.forbes.com/sites/hollyeve/2020/07/06/venture-capital-is-not-the-funding-reality-of-most-startups-heres-what-is/">1% of the startups</a> they meet. That doesn&#8217;t mean your company is bad. It just means that, from the investor&#8217;s perspective, something didn&#8217;t click.
At P2S, we review thousands of startups each year. We pass on most of them &#8211; not because they&#8217;re not smart or ambitious, but because venture capital is about fit, trust, and conviction. Here are the real reasons we (and other VCs) say no, and what you, as a founder, can take away from that.
<h3 class="wp-block-heading">1. Not a Portfolio Fit</h3>
Sometimes it's just not the kind of company we invest in. You might be building something brilliant in deeptech or consumer goods &#8211; but if our focus is AI SaaS or fintech, we'll pass. It's not personal. Good investors stay disciplined in their thesis. That also includes stage: a pre-product idea pitched to a growth-stage fund is likely a mismatch.
What you can control: Target the right funds. Look at what they've backed. If your company looks nothing like the rest of the portfolio, you might be knocking on the wrong door. It also helps to reference why you're a potential fit in your outreach &#8211; a short line that says "I saw you backed X, which solves a similar problem in a different market" can go a long way.
<h3 class="wp-block-heading">2. Founder-Investor Misalignment</h3>
Venture is a long-term relationship. We need to trust the founder and believe we can work together through the hard days. If there's poor communication, defensiveness, or a sense that the founder isn't being fully transparent &#8211; we back away.
Sometimes there's just no chemistry. You might remind a partner of a painful previous deal. Or the values don't line up. Again, it's not always rational, but trust and transparency matter.
What you can control: Be honest, clear, and direct. Investors are humans &#8211; we remember founders who can take feedback, ask thoughtful questions, and don't pretend to know everything. Sometimes it's as simple as feeling like the founder is open to partnership, not just capital.
<h3 class="wp-block-heading">3. Unclear Story</h3>
You may be solving something important. But if we can't understand what you do, why it matters, and why you'll win &#8211; we pass. A confused investor never writes a check. If we don't see the unique insight, or how this becomes a big company, it's a no.
What you can control: Your narrative. What's the problem? Why now? Why you? Say it without buzzwords. Founders who can explain their business in 30 seconds &#8211; and get us excited &#8211; have a real edge. Clarity shows depth. And when a story resonates, it gets repeated internally &#8211; you want the junior investor you pitched to be able to pitch it again in a partner meeting (we have ours each Wednesday).
<h3 class="wp-block-heading">4. Timing Is Off</h3>
You might be too early &#8211; before customers are ready to pay. Or too late &#8211; in a crowded space with no clear wedge. Or maybe you're raising more than makes sense for your stage. If we can't connect your timing to a compelling opportunity, we pass.
What you can control: Show that now is the moment. Back it with signals: market shifts, early traction, urgency. Help us believe this isn't a "someday" business. If you are early, show a clear roadmap &#8211; what will you achieve with this round, and what milestones will unlock the next one?
<h3 class="wp-block-heading">5. Risk or Red Flags</h3>
Sometimes the risk isn't worth it. A messy cap table, unresolved legal issues, or high burn without progress are red flags. If something feels off &#8211; and the founder isn't upfront &#8211; that's often a deal breaker.†
What you can control: Be transparent. Acknowledge risks, explain your plan to fix them. Most VCs can live with risk &#8211; they just hate surprises (unless positive). If your burn is high, show what it's buying you. If your cap table has issues, show that you're cleaning it up. Proactive communication is a trust builder.
Why Feedback Feels Vague
You've probably heard phrases like "too early," "not the right fit," or "we're passing for now." They're frustrating. But here's the truth: investors don't always want to give tough feedback. It's uncomfortable, and it can burn bridges. So we default to polite ambiguity.
Still, if you listen carefully, you'll find patterns. If three funds say you're too early, maybe you need more traction. If they don't get your vision, maybe the story needs work. Sometimes feedback isn't even about you &#8211; it's about internal dynamics, shifts in focus, or the partner not getting support.
What you can do: Ask. Even if the answer is vague, the way it&#8217;s said tells you something. And if you get consistent signals, use that data. Iterate. Many great startups started with a dozen rejections before something clicked.
<h3 class="wp-block-heading">Regret Works Both Ways</h3>
Yes, we all feel disappointed when an investment doesn't work out. But in venture, the deeper regret usually isn't about the losses &#8211; it's about the deals we passed on that turned into generational companies. Those are the ones you never forget.
No investor gets every decision right. That's why we focus on signals, trust, and pattern recognition. But we're also wrong, often. A no today doesn't mean a no forever. We've said yes on the second or third pitch &#8211; once the story got clearer, or the timing aligned.
<h3 class="wp-block-heading">Final Thoughts</h3>
You will hear &#8220;no.&#8221; Many times. That doesn't mean you're not onto something. Focus on what you can control &#8211; the clarity of your story, the strength of your team, your speed of execution, and the way you show up in the room.
Build momentum, show progress, and treat every pass as part of the game, not the end of it. Great founders don't get discouraged &#8211; they get sharper. They learn, adjust, and keep going.
