Celularity Inc is a clinical-stage biotechnology company developing off-the-shelf placental-derived allogeneic cell therapies including genetically modified and unmodified NK cells, engineered T cells including CAR-T cells, and mesenchymal-like adherent stromal cells, targeting indications across cancer, immunologic, infectious, and degenerative diseases. It manages its operations through an evaluation of three distinct business segments which include Cell Therapy, Degenerative Disease, and bio-banking. The company generates the majority of its revenue from the bio-banking segment.

What Happened: The dog-themed memecoin spiked over 6% in the last 24 hours, with trading volume exploding 179% to $1.19 billion.
DOGE's open interest lifted over 8%, <a href="https://www.coinglass.com/BitcoinOpenInterest">according </a>to Coinglass, indicating high speculative interest for the cryptocurrency.&nbsp;
Additionally, large transactions valued at over $100,000 jumped 41% in the last 24 hours, while daily active addresses spiked nearly 35%, <a href="https://app.intotheblock.com/">according</a> to IntoTheBlock.
The uptick comes after the tech mogul <a href="https://www.benzinga.com/news/politics/25/07/46265725/elon-musk-announces-formation-of-america-party-emerges-in-wake-of-donald-trumps-historic-spending-bill">announced the formation</a> of a new political party, the "America Party&#8221; as a countermeasure to what he views as a flawed two-party system. 
The launch follows President&nbsp;Donald Trump‘s signing a significant spending bill, one that Musk has been vehemently critical of.
Musk has been a known<a href="https://www.benzinga.com/general/education/25/01/42794433/if-you-invested-1000-in-dogecoin-when-elon-musk-acquired-twitter-heres-how-much-youd-have-now" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener"> supporter of the DOGE</a>&nbsp;meme coin, and even the acronym&nbsp;for Department of Government Efficiency, an entity which he created, bears an uncanny reference to the canine-themed coin.

What Happened: Bitcoin surged to an intraday high of $109,731.63, with trading volume jumping by nearly 25% in the last 24 hours.
Ethereum, the second-largest cryptocurrency, reached a high of $2,600 but then fell back to around $2,500.
The rally wiped out $134 million in bearish short positions in the last 24 hours. More than $300 million in downside bets risked liquidation if Bitcoin made a new high.
Bitcoin&#8217;s open interest rose 2.41% in the last 24 hours to $74 billion, while Ethereum recorded a 3.90% jump in funds locked in unsettled derivatives contracts.&nbsp;
The "Greed" sentiment strengthened from 66 to 73 in the last 24 hours, according to the Crypto Fear &amp; Greed Index.

Stock futures inched lower overnight Sunday. The Dow Jones Industrial Average Futures fell 139 points, or 0.30%, as of 9:40 p.m. EDT.&nbsp; Futures tied to the S&amp;P 500 slid 0.43%, while Nasdaq 100 Futures lost 0.53%.
Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnick told reporters that Trump's planned tariffs will take effect on August 1, further extending the previously set July 9 deadline, Bloomberg <a href="https://www.bloomberg.com/news/articles/2025-07-06/lutnick-says-trump-s-tariffs-will-take-effect-on-august-1?srnd=homepage-americas">reported</a>.

Bitcoin, Ethereum, Dogecoin Gain As Trump Tariffs Deadline Delayed: 'Massive' Altcoin Season In The Works, Says This Analyst

Tesla Inc. (NASDAQ:<a class="ticker" href="https://www.benzinga.com/stock/TSLA#NASDAQ">TSLA</a>) CEO Elon Musk announced a <a href="https://www.benzinga.com/news/politics/25/07/46265725/elon-musk-announces-formation-of-america-party-emerges-in-wake-of-donald-trumps-historic-spending-bill">new political entity</a> over the weekend, dubbed the &#8220;America Party,&#8221; which has since sparked mixed reactions among investors, analysts and loyalists.

What Happened: On Sunday, in a post on X, Wedbush Securities senior analyst Dan Ives was blunt in his assessment, saying Musk's move was &#8220;exactly the opposite direction&#8221; of what most investors would have wanted him to take, during what he refers to as a &#8220;crucial period for Tesla.&#8221;
Ives says he gets why Musk is doing this, but adds that it&#8217;s just causing exhaustion for investors in the company, as the stock dropped over 6% in pre-market trade, before recovering to -0.85% at the time of writing this, in response to the announcement.

His remark underscores concerns that Musk's focus may be drifting from Tesla's operational priorities at a pivotal time for the company.

The Managing Partner at the Future Fund, Gary Black, however, downplayed the impact this is set to have on Tesla, saying that he disagrees &#8220;with the doomsday crowd,&#8221; and believes it is unlikely to have any significant impact on the company&#8217;s shares in the long-term, while acknowledging that &#8220;it's difficult to predict the short term impact.&#8221;
Black says that it&#8217;s &#8220;highly unlikely&#8221; for this new political venture to gain much traction, noting the historical difficulty third parties have faced in the U.S. This, he says, would lead Musk to eventually focus on something else.

Elon Musk's America Party Is A Move In The 'Opposite Direction,' Says Dan Ives, Analyst Gary Black Says Difficult To Predict Impact On Tesla Brand Short Term

Cryptocurrency bettors are strongly believing that entrepreneur and former presidential candidate Andrew Yang will join tech mogul Elon Musk's new political party.
What Happened: Yang had the highest possibility of joining Musk&#8217;s new political front before October, at 44%, <a href="https://polymarket.com/event/who-will-join-the-america-party-before-october?tid=1751848292655">according </a>to the decentralized prediction tool Polymarket.
Notably, billionaire investor and entrepreneur Mark Cuban, an outspoken critic of Musk, had a 28% probability of joining the party as of this writing.
Polymarket, based on Polygon (CRYPTO: <a class="ticker" href="https://www.benzinga.com/quote/">POL</a>), allows users to buy "Yes" and "No" shares in USDC (CRYPTO: <a class="ticker" href="https://www.benzinga.com/quote/">USDC</a>) stablecoin. The shares representing the correct outcome are paid out $1 USDC each upon market resolution.
Yang has been seen leaning toward Musk's side after he said in an X post that he would rather support a person "who enabled space rockets and electric cars" over the guy "who branded steaks."

(NASDAQ:<a class="ticker" href="https://www.benzinga.com/stock/META#NASDAQ">META</a>) are among the biggest contributors.
Microsoft, Alphabet, Amazon.com, Inc. The move comes after realizing the policy wasn't helping the team; it was actually hurting it.
&#8220;It sounds progressive, but it&#8217;s totally broken,&#8221; Breslow wrote. &#8220;When time off is undefined, the good ones don&#8217;t take PTO. The bad ones take too much.&#8221;

The result? &#8220;A-performer burnout. B-performer luxuries. And feelings of unfairness across the board,&#8221; he said.
Bolt is now offering four weeks of mandatory paid vacation, with additional time accruing based on tenure. According to Breslow, this shift brings clarity and fairness, which he believes are crucial if the company is asking employees to &#8220;move fast, build hard, and operate at the highest level.&#8221;
&#8220;Execution requires clarity. That applies to PTO, too,&#8221; he added.

While unlimited vacation policies sound like a dream, experts say they often benefit employers more than employees. CBS MoneyWatch <a href="https://www.cbsnews.com/news/unlimited-vacation-bad-deal-companies-save-billions/">reported</a> in 2023 that such policies allow companies to erase unused vacation day liabilities from their balance sheets, saving them billions.

Wharton School Professor Peter Cappelli told CBS MoneyWatch that shifting to unlimited time off means companies go from a &#8220;contractual obligation to a kind of moral obligation.&#8221; He estimated that U.S. businesses are saving about $224 billion by doing this.
&#8220;Conscientious employees aren&#8217;t likely to take advantage of their access to unlimited time off, but less-motivated employees&#8230; can be far more inclined to take off as much time as they can get away with,&#8221; workplace consultant Alison Green told CBS MoneyWatch.&nbsp;

But the replies came fast and honest—yes, they exist, and they're not as rare as people might think.

A large chunk of the thread was filled with stories of people who got into tech early. &#8220;The one from college went into computer science, ended up working at FAANG right out of school,&#8221; the original poster wrote. Of course, plenty got there through inheritance or generational wealth. &#8220;I do. Their parent died, and they inherited a lot of money plus life insurance money, and sold the parent's $1.6M home,&#8221; one commenter wrote. Another admitted, &#8220;Me and all of my brothers, but just because our parents established trust funds for each of us.&#8221;
Still, many were self-made through business ownership. &#8220;Buddy is a convict and couldn't get a job. He started his own concrete business. It's hard work but he easily makes $600K a year.&#8221; Others succeeded in less expected ways: OnlyFans, YouTube, or founding companies and selling them off.
Some reminded others that being a millionaire today isn't what it used to be. &#8220;Literally about a third of the wealth of a millionaire in 1984,&#8221; someone pointed out. &#8220;Meaning you really need to have $3 million to have the lifestyle of a millionaire we think of.&#8221;
But there was a shared thread across most responses: they lived below their means, stayed consistent, and had a long time horizon. As one person put it, &#8220;Simple but not easy is really it.&#8221;

Still, Brennan reportedly said, "He was cheap as he could be. He under-provided for everything. It was always like pulling teeth to get him to step up."
Lisa recalled other emotional gaps too — like when she asked why he didn't keep any baby photos of her. She wondered aloud if she'd been an ugly baby. He didn't respond.
When she got to Harvard, Jobs reportedly refused to pay for her senior year. Family friends covered it instead. He reimbursed them years later.

In the wake of President Donald Trump&#8216;s budget bill approval, billionaire and financial advisor Ray Dalio anticipates serious economic repercussions.
What Happened: Dalio has voiced serious apprehensions about the financial future of the US. President Trump&#8217;s &#8220;One Big Beautiful Bill&#8221; is projected to escalate the national debt from roughly $230,000 per household to $425,000 within the next decade.
In a post on X, Dalio cautions that this national debt surge will have severe consequences. The&nbsp;bill is expected to lead&nbsp;to an annual expenditure&nbsp;of about $7 trillion against an income of approximately $5 trillion.

"If I were you, forget your husband in terms of him not wanting to do it," Orman said. "That&#8217;s fine. Understand that and don&#8217;t take it personally. It&#8217;s not damaging your relationship in reality. It&#8217;s just in your head."

Divorce At 72 Leaves Woman Working Full Time To Make Ends Meet, But That's Not All - Suze Orman Weighs In

Aluminerie Alouette, Canada's largest aluminum smelter and a key supplier to the U.S. market, announced a CA$1.5 billion ($1.1 billion) investment in its northern Québec facilities. The firm, owned by a Rio Tinto (NYSE:<a class="ticker" href="https://www.benzinga.com/stock/RIO#NYSE">RIO</a>)-led consortium, is making this commitment despite growing pressure from <a href="https://www.benzinga.com/topic/tariffs">U.S. tariffs</a> and global trade uncertainty.
"Today's announcement, which we have been working on for several months, paves the way for the coming decades for our current and future employees, our communities and our business partners," <a href="https://www.alouette.com/en/media/press-releases?id=3201&amp;pg=0">said</a> Claude Gosselin, President and CEO of Aluminerie Alouette.
"We sincerely appreciate the collaboration of the Quebec government and Hydro-Québec for their unwavering confidence in the essential role that primary aluminum plays in the economic vitality of both our region and the province," he added.
The investment follows a newly signed long-term power agreement with Hydro-Québec that will guarantee electricity supply through 2045. With an annual capacity of 630,000 metric tons, the Sept-Îles facility is critical to North American aluminum supply chains.
Owned by a consortium that includes Rio Tinto (40%), Hydro Aluminium (20%), AMAG Austria Metall (20%), Marubeni (13.33%), and QUALIUM (6.67%), Aluminerie Alouette employs around 950 people and represents the largest private employer in the region.
Aluminum produced in Québec is particularly important to the United States, which has only four operating primary aluminum smelters, which are insufficient for domestic needs. Canada supplies approximately 2.7 million metric tons of aluminum to the U.S. annually, supporting sectors from automotive and aerospace to food packaging. The U.S., however, has threatened tariffs of up to 50% on Canadian aluminum, a move widely criticized as counterproductive.
"The United States needs Quebec to meet its demand, especially since we produce 70% of all aluminum in North America," Quebec's Economy Minister Christine Frechette said, according<a href="https://www.bloomberg.com/news/articles/2025-07-02/rio-tinto-backed-aluminum-firm-to-invest-1-1-billion-in-canada-smelter"> to</a> Bloomberg. Still, with U.S. tariffs pushing Canadian aluminum out of the market, American manufacturers face <a href="https://www.benzinga.com/25/03/44338152/can-manufacturers-warn-about-tariffs-ask-for-targeted-relief">rising costs for essential goods</a>, while Canada&#8217;s producers look to Europe for alternative buyers.
The Canadian aluminum industry has taken steps to protect its market integrity, including supporting Finance Canada&#8217;s new import monitoring system and the "Country of Smelt and Cast" provisions designed to block unfair trade. Jean Simard, President of the Aluminium Association of Canada, <a href="https://www.benzinga.com/markets/commodities/25/06/45766967/us-aluminum-tariffs-risk-supply-chain-and-food-security-industry-insiders-warn">noted</a> that Canadian aluminum "is not—and will not be—a backdoor for unfair trade," pointing to Canada's leadership in traceability and sustainability.
