What Happened: According to reports <a href="https://www.theinformation.com/articles/google-advanced-talks-rent-nvidia-ai-servers-coreweave">from</a> The Information, Google is in talks with the recently listed CoreWeave Inc. (NASDAQ:<a class="ticker" href="https://www.benzinga.com/stock/CRWV#NASDAQ">CRWV</a>) to rent the latter&#8217;s Nvidia servers, which are equipped with the latest generation Blackwell chips.
Additionally, the search giant might also rent space in CoreWeave&#8217;s data centers to install its own Tensor Processing Unit (TPU) chips, which were <a href="https://benzinga.com/analyst-ratings/analyst-color/25/02/43570410/broadcoms-trillion-dollar-run-analyst-expects-asic-to-take-10-15-market-share-backed-by-ai-compute-demand">made in collaboration with Broadcom Inc.</a> (NASDAQ:<a class="ticker" href="https://www.benzinga.com/stock/AVGO#NASDAQ">AVGO</a>).
CoreWeave, which was listed on the Nasdaq late last week, is up 53% from its offer price of $40, owing to its multi-billion dollar deals with several heavy-hitters in the AI space. Currently, Microsoft Corp. (NASDAQ:<a class="ticker" href="https://www.benzinga.com/stock/MSFT#NASDAQ">MSFT</a>) accounts for 60% of the company&#8217;s $1.9 billion in annual revenue, but it is quickly diversifying.
In addition to its talks with Google, CoreWeave recently signed a 5-year deal with OpenAI worth $12 billion for its growing AI infrastructure needs. 
Why It Matters: Whether it is Google, Nvidia&#8217;s backlogs, or <a href="https://www.benzinga.com/markets/equities/25/04/44601565/coreweave-surges-42-in-post-ipo-rally-as-nvidia-backed-ai-firm-recovers-from-weak-debut">CoreWeave&#8217;s rally</a>, they all point to the same thing &#8211; the unrelenting demand for AI computing, which is only set to grow by leaps and bounds.
While Google and Nvidia are both down 17% and 20% year-to-date, owing to high valuations and turmoil surrounding tariffs, Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang did not hesitate when saying that reasoning models will require at least 100 times more computing power than the current generation models that power the likes of ChatGPT.
In other words, we&#8217;ve barely scratched the surface in terms of AI infrastructure demand, with plenty more growth to be had across all these stocks.

U.S. stocks were lower, with the Dow Jones index falling over 100 points on Wednesday.
Shares of Cognyte Software Ltd. (NASDAQ:<a class="ticker" href="https://www.benzinga.com/stock/CGNT#NASDAQ">CGNT</a>) rose sharply during Wednesday's session after the company reported better-than-expected <a href="https://www.benzinga.com/quote/CGNT">fourth-quarter financial results</a>.
Cognyte Software posted adjusted earnings of 3 cents per share, beating market estimates of 1 cent per share. The company's quarterly sales came in at $94.505 million versus expectations of $93.154 million.
Cognyte Software shares jumped 22.1% to $10.04 on Wednesday.

Cognyte Software Posts Upbeat Results, Joins AngioDynamics, Allegiant Travel And Other Big Stocks Moving Higher On Wednesday

Nvidia Corp. (NASDAQ:<a class="ticker" href="https://www.benzinga.com/stock/NVDA#NASDAQ">NVDA</a>) has consistently achieved record revenue over the years, and analysts project continued growth. However, its investments in neo cloud companies may impact revenue, according to an analyst. 
What Happened: This analyst, who was a former public equity investor in Nvidia on the buy side, explains why it was important for Jensen Huang to diversify his investments.
Nvidia has recently invested in CoreWeave Inc. (NASDAQ:<a class="ticker" href="https://www.benzinga.com/stock/CRWV#NASDAQ">CRWV</a>), ahead of its IPO, and it invested in Nebius Group NV. (NASDAQ:<a class="ticker" href="https://www.benzinga.com/stock/NBIS#NASDAQ">NBIS</a>) in December 2024.
According to Gavin Baker, the managing partner and CIO at Atreides Management, &#8220;If Nvidia had not put any money into CoreWeave, and not put any money into other neo clouds, I don&#8217;t think it would have impacted their revenues at all.&#8221;
While speaking at the All-In Podcast, Baker said that Nvidia could have potentially sold more to Meta Platforms Inc. (NASDAQ:<a class="ticker" href="https://www.benzinga.com/stock/META#NASDAQ">META</a>), Amazon.com Inc. (NASDAQ:<a class="ticker" href="https://www.benzinga.com/stock/AMZN#NASDAQ">AMZN</a>), and Microsoft Corp. (NASDAQ:<a class="ticker" href="https://www.benzinga.com/stock/MSFT#NASDAQ">MSFT</a>) and generated higher revenue, instead of investing in neo cloud companies.

He explained that even three years ago, the three major players in the cloud computing space dominated that market.
&#8220;If you&#8217;re Nvidia, that&#8217;s not great, to have just three big customers. Those big clouds, particularly in 2023, when there was such a rush to get GPUs, they each wanted their own custom version of an Nvidia server,&#8221; he said.
&#8220;Nvidia, by giving a standard reference design to companies like CoreWeave, got GPUs in the market a lot faster… …So the incremental share of revenue for the big three cloud computing hyperscalers went down, and that was nothing but good for Nvidia because they now have a more fragmented base of buyers, who have less power over them.&#8221;

Why It Matters: According to Yahoo Finance, Nvidia is estimated to achieve sales of $204.4 billion in fiscal 2026, which would be a 56.60% gain from fiscal 2025 revenue of $130.5 billion.
While this is nearly half of the 114% year-on-year increase in fiscal 2025, analysts still believe that Nvidia&#8217;s Blackwell chip sales will lead to robust financials.

Rosenblatt on CoreWeave: The technology company's IPO debut was disappointing but could prove to be a positive for miners shifting to high-performance computing, Rosenblatt analyst Chris Brendler said in an investor note.
"The market has been taking a ‘glass half empty' approach lately, but we still think CoreWeave's IPO and HPC deal with Galaxy are positive developments for our bull case on miners," Brendler said.
The analyst said power is still in short supply and Bitcoin miners can supply large loads of power. Brendler said CoreWeave's IPO may be "disappointing and discouraging for the overall IPO market."
One item that likely helped was the company's capital commitments from investors like Nvidia, the analyst added.
"As a public company, we not only expect improved visibility on the opportunity but also boost CRWV's ability to raise additional capital. As a result, we think we'll see more lease agreements with miners given advantaged access to power."
The analyst highlighted a new 15-year lease between Galaxy Digital (OTC:<a class="ticker" href="https://www.benzinga.com/stock/BRPHF#OTC">BRPHF</a>) and CoreWeave announced Friday.
D. Boral on CoreWeave: The AI company has an IPO that went off with challenges, D. Boral Capital analyst Jesse Sobelson said.
"Initially aiming to raise up to $2.7 billion, the company ultimately settled for $1.5 billion, pricing shares at $40," Sobelson said.
The analyst said Nvidia helped backstop the offering, buying shares directly with investor demand falling short of initial expectations.

Nvidia Declines Nearly 4% In Monday Pre-Market: What's Going On?

Niles said that these factors, along with reciprocal tariffs on April 2nd, do not bode well for how CoreWeave is likely to trade this upcoming week or related AI names.
