Me and the other 79 in my team are being canned and replaced by an AI that it turns out we&#8217;ve been training for the past 2 years.&#8221;
The employee didn't name the company but said it was a major U.S. firm with roughly 300,000 workers. Nvidia-Backed CoreWeave's IPO Comes In Below Expectations At $40 Per Share

AI could soon write 90% of software code in as few as three to six months, Anthropic CEO Dario Amodei said at a <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=esCSpbDPJik">Council on Foreign Relations</a> event on March 10. He added that within 12 months, nearly all coding tasks might be handled by AI. Human developers, however, will still be needed to provide design inputs and set operational parameters for these models.
<h2 class="wp-block-heading">AI Code Revolution</h2>
Anthropic, co‑founded by Amodei in 2021 after his stint at OpenAI, has attracted billions in funding from major tech companies such as <a href="https://www.benzinga.com/startups/25/02/43681931/googles-ai-ambitions-spark-cost-cuts-over-25000-employees-offered-buyouts-as-company-focuses-on-speed-and-efficiency">Google</a> and Amazon (NASDAQ:<a class="ticker" href="https://www.benzinga.com/stock/AMZN#NASDAQ">AMZN</a>). In March, Amodei stated that in time, AI systems will take over tasks previously done by human programmers, expanding their reach into nearly every industry.

Garry Tan, president and CEO of startup incubator Y Combinator, said in an <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=coojA-odaTk">interview </a>with CNBC that 25% of founders in the Winter 2025 batch relied heavily on AI, with 95% of their code generated by large language models.&nbsp;
The Winter 2025 batch refers to the cohort of startups participating in Y Combinator&#8217;s accelerator program during the winter of 2025.
OpenAI CEO Sam Altman suggested that students should master AI tools just as previous generations learned to code. In a <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=L_Guz73e6fw&amp;utm">recent interview </a>with Ben Thompson of "Stratechery," Altman said, &#8220;The obvious tactical thing is just get really good at using AI tools.&#8221;
The integration of AI in coding is already showing benefits. According to <a href="https://www.reuters.com/technology/artificial-intelligence/jpmorgan-engineers-efficiency-jumps-much-20-using-coding-assistant-2025-03-13/">Reuters</a>, JPMorgan Chase&#8217;s (NYSE:<a class="ticker" href="https://www.benzinga.com/stock/JPM#NYSE">JPM</a>) global chief information officer, Lori Beer, said that its AI coding assistant increased software engineers' productivity by up to 20%, allowing them to concentrate on high‑value projects in artificial intelligence and data.

Accountability, bias, and potential security vulnerabilities in AI-generated code highlight the need for human oversight, as stated by<a href="https://allthingsopen.org/articles/ai-code-assistants-limitations"> All Things Open</a>, a technology conference focused on open-source software and emerging technologies.
Industry experts warn that AI-generated code requires strict human oversight to prevent compliance issues and security risks, according to <a href="https://venturebeat.com/ai/the-risks-of-ai-generated-code-are-real-heres-how-enterprises-can-manage-the-risk/">VentureBeat</a>. Without proper governance, unchecked AI-written code could introduce vulnerabilities. Automated guardrails are recommended to audit and secure AI-generated software, ensuring compliance with industry standards and legal requirements.

Anthropic CEO Says AI Could Write '90% Of Code' In '3 To 6 Months'—Warns 'Every Industry' Will Be Affected

On CNBC's &#8220;<a href="https://www.cnbc.com/video/2025/03/26/final-trades-chewy-wabtec-crown-castle-and-jpmorgan-chase.html">Halftime Report Final Trades</a>,&#8221; Joseph M. Terranova of Virtus Investment Partners named JPMorgan Chase &amp; Co. (NYSE:<a class="ticker" href="https://www.benzinga.com/stock/JPM#NYSE">JPM</a>) as his final trade.
JPMorgan is scheduled to host a conference call on Friday, April 11, to review its first-quarter financial results. Analysts expect the bank to report quarterly earnings at $4.57 per share, up from $4.44 per share in the year-ago period. JPMorgan projects quarterly revenue of $43.72 billion, compared to $41.93 billion a year earlier.
Brian Belski of BMO Capital Markets named Chewy, Inc. (NYSE:<a class="ticker" href="https://www.benzinga.com/stock/CHWY#NYSE">CHWY</a>) <a href="https://www.benzinga.com/news/guidance/25/03/44493591/pet-goods-retailer-chewy-q4-earnings-better-than-expected-says-topline-growth-profitability-exceeded-guidance">as his final trade.</a>
Adding support to his choice, Chewy posted upbeat fourth-quarter earnings on Wednesday. The company reported a fourth-quarter adjusted EPS of 28 cents, up 55.6% year-over-year, compared to the consensus of 5 cents. The retailer of pet supplies reported sales of $3.25 billion. 
That's up 14.9% year over year, compared to the consensus of $3.2 billion and the management guidance of $3.18 billion-$3.2 billion.
Karen Firestone of Aureus Asset Management said Westinghouse Air Brake Technologies Corporation (NYSE WAB) is number one maker of railcars and rapid transit.
On the earnings front, Wabtec announced it will report first-quarter results before the opening bell on April 23.
