What Happened: Musk&#8217;s plan to launch the America Party <a href="https://www.benzinga.com/news/politics/25/07/46300946/musk-vs-trump-soap-opera-must-end-tesla-analyst-shares-3-key-steps">has not been positively received</a> by Trump or Tesla shareholders.
Tesla stock declined Monday following news that Musk is forming a third party and pushing deeper into U.S. politics, items that were newsworthy over the Fourth of July holiday weekend.
Musk's net worth declined by $15.3 billion on Monday, according to <a href="https://www.bloomberg.com/billionaires/">Bloomberg</a>. The Tesla CEO is now worth $346 billion.
Musk has lost $86.7 billion in net worth in 2025, with the price of Tesla shares down 20.7% as of Tuesday.
While this is a substantial hit to Musk's net worth, he remains the world's richest person by a wide margin. Ranking behind Musk is Meta Platforms CEO Mark Zuckerberg, who is worth $253 billion. While many of the other richest people in the world have added to their net worths in 2025, they are still around $100 billion or more behind Musk.
In the ongoing feud between Musk and Trump, it is also interesting to see how much more Musk and his companies are worth. Benzinga <a href="https://www.benzinga.com/news/politics/25/07/46227172/musk-net-worth-drops-12-billion-after-new-trump-battle-tesla-ceo-is-still-77-times-richer-than-president">previously </a><a href="https://www.benzinga.com/news/politics/25/07/46227172/musk-net-worth-drops-12-billion-after-new-trump-battle-tesla-ceo-is-still-77-times-richer-than-president" target="_blank" rel="noopener">reported</a> that Musk was worth 77 times more than Trump.
With Musk's latest $346 billion wealth figure, he is now worth 49 times the combined value of Trump Media &amp; Technology Group (NASDAQ:<a class="ticker" href="https://www.benzinga.com/stock/DJT#NASDAQ">DJT</a>) and Trump Coin (CRYPTO: <a class="ticker" href="https://www.benzinga.com/quote/">TRUMP</a>).
Trump Media is valued at around $5.3 billion, and the Trump Coin is worth $1.7 billion. Both items are connected to the president with Trump<a href="https://www.benzinga.com/trading-ideas/movers/25/04/44608924/trump-media-technology-stock-drops-on-share-registration-will-president-trump-sell-his-stake"> currently owning</a> 114,750,000 DJT shares worth around $2.2 billion.
As Benzinga previously reported, Trump is worth an estimated $5.3 billion, according to <a href="https://www.forbes.com/profile/donald-trump/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Forbes</a>, as he does not appear on the top 500 list and requires a minimum wealth of $6.9 billion to be included in the Bloomberg Billionaires Index.
Benzinga reached out to the White House for clarity on Trump&#8217;s net worth figure and did not receive a response.
While the price of Tesla declines, Musk's net worth remains significantly higher than that of the president or companies and assets associated with him.

Tesla investors should also keep in mind that Trump was once strongly opposed to autonomous vehicles and stated that he would ban them from the road. Musk set a<a href="https://www.benzinga.com/news/23/01/30362822/elon-musk-wins-a-guinness-world-record-but-he-likely-wont-be-celebrating" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener"> Guinness World Record</a> in 2022 with the largest single-year wealth drop, with his net worth declining between $180 billion and $200 billion.
It is unlikely that Musk could see such a significant drop again in 2025, but continued battles between Musk and Trump could be a storyline to watch.

What To Know: The company is making aggressive cuts to its global workforce, including at its facilities in Israel and Oregon, as part of a broader effort to simplify operations and reduce costs under its new CEO. Reuters Reports U.S. Supreme Court Blocks Judge's Order That Halted Trump Administration's Mass Layoffs At Federal Agencies

A recent episode of &#8220;<a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6Bh3Hu2CVgc">The Ramsey Show</a>&#8221; left co-hosts Jade Warshaw and Ken Coleman stunned when a 19-year-old caller shared that his father has been demanding $2,800 a month from him, despite the two not even living together.
The caller, Austin, said he left home and now lives on his grandfather's farm, yet his dad insists on receiving thousands of dollars each month. He's been complying, sending as much as $3,000 a month for the past four months.
<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Paying Thousands</h2>
When asked why his dad wanted the money, Austin admitted, &#8220;I don't know,&#8221; and explained that his father provided no real explanation. "I told him I didn't think it was fair," Austin said. "If I'm living away from home and he's not paying any of my expenses, then he shouldn't get any of my money."

Instead of clarifying his reasons, Austin's dad was apparently offended that Austin questioned the payments at all.&nbsp;
Warshaw was visibly shocked, while Coleman labeled the situation as <a href="https://www.benzinga.com/news/25/04/44889610/my-mom-brings-up-every-excuse-in-the-book-says-one-millennial-who-sends-her-money-asks-anyone-else-doing-this-every-month">emotional and financial manipulation</a>. "Hear us loud and clear, your dad is manipulating you," Coleman told Austin. "This is crazy unhealthy. There's no good way to stop doing this other than just stop doing it."
Austin also revealed that his dad once told him he wouldn't be considered an adult until he turned 21—a claim tied to his father's belief that his own father had set the same precedent.
Coleman rejected the premise entirely. "This idea that if I lived with him then I'd have to do whatever he says is bonkers," he said.

Even though Austin is technically living on his grandfather's farm, his uncle now occupies the home. Austin said his grandfather knows about the payments and is not fully opposed but believes the amount is excessive. "He is not against Dad getting some, but not that much," Austin said.
Warshaw urged Austin to remove himself completely from the situation. "You've already made the first right move by <a href="https://www.benzinga.com/markets/25/06/46132218/i-just-want-to-be-free-23-year-old-asks-reddit-if-buying-a-condo-will-actually-set-her-back">moving out</a>," she said. The next right move for him is to get his own place.
The hosts emphasized the importance of cutting all financial ties to his father to prevent further manipulation or guilt. "$3,000 a month is going to allow you to go get a nice apartment today," Coleman said.
Before ending the call, Coleman had a message for Austin's father, who might hear the show: "This is twisted. It is manipulative. It is wrong. And it is destroying—if it has not already destroyed—the relationship with your son. Stop this nonsense. Let the boy fly."

What To Know: The blockchain technology firm detailed a sophisticated &#8220;DeFi/TradFi Flywheel&#8221; approach for the capital raise. BTCS says this hybrid model uniquely blends at-the-market equity sales and convertible debt, with decentralized finance strategies, including borrowing from the Aave protocol.
The company says this method is engineered to maximize the accumulation of Ethereum while seeking to minimize shareholder dilution.
CEO Charles Allen noted the favorable timing of the initiative, stating, "We believe that Ethereum has significant growth potential and is central to the future digital financial infrastructure."

Price Action: According to data from <a href="https://benzinga.grsm.io/register174">Benzinga Pro</a>, BTCS shares are trading higher by 91.7% to $5.38 Tuesday afternoon. The stock has a 52-week high of $6.19 and a 52-week low of $0.96.

Why BTCS Stock Is Skyrocketing Tuesday

U.S. stocks may be breaking records, but a flood of investor cash is moving elsewhere—toward emerging markets, where valuations are cheaper, currencies are strengthening and years of underperformance <a href="https://www.benzinga.com/markets/emerging-markets">may finally be reversing.</a>
The iShares Core MSCI Emerging Markets ETF (NYSE:<a class="ticker" href="https://www.benzinga.com/stock/IEMG#NYSE">IEMG</a>) has attracted $7.4 billion in inflows so far in 2025, making it the 12th most bought ETF overall and the second-most popular international equity ETF after the Vanguard Total International Stock Index Fund ETF (NYSE:<a class="ticker" href="https://www.benzinga.com/stock/VXUS#NYSE">VXUS</a>), which pulled in $7.8 billion.
The US-listed emerging-market fund has also just posted its biggest 4-week inflow since 2021, taking in $3 billion as investor appetite for international diversification in equities heats up.

<h3 class="wp-block-heading">Why Emerging Markets, And Why Now?</h3>
Macro analyst Callum Thomas, founder of Topdown Charts, added that many investors remain "seriously underexposed to what may be one of the biggest opportunities in the coming decade."
He pointed to several tailwinds for EM stocks:

<li>Allocations: Global portfolios are underweight EM equities</li>
<li>Currencies: The U.S. dollar may have peaked, while EM currencies are rebounding</li>
<li>Monetary policy: Many EM central banks are actively stimulating growth</li>
<li>Sentiment: Investor skepticism remains high—a classic contrarian signal</li>
</ul>
"We may well be on the cusp of a golden decade for emerging markets," Thomas said.
Technically, Thomas sees signs of a major shift. "There is a clear long-term uptrend in play," he said, noting that EM equities are currently "significantly below" trend.
ETF.com analyst Sumir Roy said the trend is being fueled by investor recognition of growing strength outside the U.S. "This year's rally in international equities has extended to emerging markets, and ETF investors are taking notice," Roy said.
The analyst also broke down why the two most popular U.S.-based emerging markets ETFs have delivered different performance this year.
So far this year, the iShares Core MSCI Emerging Markets ETF is up 15.6%, outperforming Vanguard Emerging Markets Stock Index Fund ETF (NYSE:<a class="ticker" href="https://www.benzinga.com/stock/VWO#NYSE">VWO</a>)&#8217;s 12.7% gain.
Essentially, the difference came down to the exclusion of one key country. South Korea—is entirely absent from the Vanguard ETF– but makes up 11% of IEMG and has been one of the world's top-performing markets in 2025. 
The iShares MSCI South Korea ETF (NYSE:<a class="ticker" href="https://www.benzinga.com/stock/EWY#NYSE">EWY</a>) is up 38% year to date, contributing 3.6 percentage points to IEMG's performance, second only to China's 4.3 points.

CoreWeave, Inc. (NASDAQ:<a class="ticker" href="https://www.benzinga.com/stock/CRWV#NASDAQ">CRWV</a>), an AI cloud-computing startup specializing in AI infrastructure, announced on July 7 its intent to acquire crypto miner Core Scientific, Inc. (NASDAQ:<a class="ticker" href="https://www.benzinga.com/stock/CORZ#NASDAQ">CORZ</a>) in a <a href="https://www.benzinga.com/trading-ideas/movers/25/07/46280108/coreweave-core-scientific-shares-move-lower-on-9-billion-all-stock-deal" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">$9 billion all-stock deal</a>.
This acquisition is expected to enable CoreWeave to verticalize its data center footprint, aiming to &#8220;future-proof revenue growth&#8221; and enhance profitability.
Following the announcement, Bank of America Securities analyst Brad Sills <a target="_blank" href="https://www.benzinga.com/quote/CRWV/analyst-ratings" rel="noreferrer noopener">maintained a Neutral rating</a> on CoreWeave on Tuesday, setting a price forecast of $185.

As per the terms of the fixed exchange ratio, Core Scientific stockholders will receive 0.1235 newly issued shares of CoreWeave Class A common stock for each share of Core Scientific common stock they hold.
Sills noted that the $9 billion equity value is calculated on a fully diluted basis, based on CoreWeave&#8217;s 5-day volume-weighted average price (VWAP) of $20.40 per share.
Sills highlighted that Core Scientific operates large-scale, energy-efficient data centers optimized for high-density workloads, including bitcoin mining and AI.
Bitcoin mining companies are expanding their operations beyond cryptocurrency by leveraging their existing power and data center infrastructure for AI workloads. 
They are now leasing out their power capacity and data center space to meet the surging demand from the AI sector. This strategic shift is exemplified by recent acquisitions within the industry.
The analyst emphasized that this proposed acquisition primarily focuses on securing greater access to power rather than acquiring GPUs or CPUs.
Core Scientific&#8217;s property, plant, and equipment base, valued at $650 million as of March, is notably small compared to Sills&#8217; estimated $21.5 billion in capital expenditures for CoreWeave in fiscal year 2025.
The acquisition provides CoreWeave access to 10 data centers across the U.S. with a total contracted power capacity of 1.3 gigawatts (GW). Of this, approximately 840 megawatts (MW) are already modified for high-performance computing (HPC), with the remaining 500 MW currently supporting bitcoin operations, according to Sills.
He observed a 60% overlap with CoreWeave&#8217;s existing data center locations and 40% from newly added geographies. This diversification will grant CoreWeave access to power in new regions such as Kentucky, Oklahoma, and North Dakota, as per Core Scientific&#8217;s recent filing.
Furthermore, CoreWeave anticipates $500 million in operating expense synergies by calendar year 2027. These savings are expected to stem from the elimination of long-term operating leases (totaling $10 billion over 12 years) and a streamlined operational focus.
Sills projects that this would raise the combined entity&#8217;s adjusted operating margin to 28.4%, up from his current estimate of 26.0% for CoreWeave alone. However, Sills cautioned that achieving these synergies carries execution risk, noting that the market is already modeling an aggressive margin ramp for Core Scientific standalone in fiscal 2027, from 8.0% in Q1 2025 to 22.2%, according to Bloomberg.
Price Action: CoreWeave stock traded lower by 3.75% to $153.71, while Core Scientific stock was down 3.07% at $14.38 at last check Tuesday.

Why CoreWeave's $9 Billion Deal Isn't About Chips

D. Boral Capital upgraded Artelo Biosciences, Inc. (NASDAQ:<a class="ticker" href="https://www.benzinga.com/stock/ARTL#NASDAQ">ARTL</a>) on Tuesday.
The analyst upgraded from Hold to Buy and introduced a <a href="https://www.benzinga.com/quote/ARTL/analyst-ratings" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">price forecast of $20</a>.
Analyst Jason Kolbert wrote, &#8220;We continue to view Artelo as an emerging biotechnology company focused on Cachexia and chemotherapy-induced peripheral neuropathy (CIN) with the lead program.&#8221;
ART27.13 is a Phase 2 asset, a selective benzimadazole agonist acquired from AstraZeneca Plc (NASDAQ:<a class="ticker" href="https://www.benzinga.com/stock/AZN#NASDAQ">AZN</a>).
The analyst wrote that ART27.13 showed potential to stimulate appetite and promote weight gain, which offered a novel approach to improving the quality of life of cancer patients.
