Village Farms International Inc owns and operates intensive agricultural greenhouse facilities in British Columbia and Texas, where it produces, markets and sells tomatoes, bell peppers and cucumbers. Jason Furman, a Harvard economist and former economic advisor to President Barack Obama, posted on X with a more cautious message.
