In 1854 Otis' founder and namesake Elisha Graves Otis, invented a safety mechanism that prevented elevators from falling if the hoisting cable failed. The company's product and service lifecycle begins with installations of elevator units in new buildings, later selling maintenance services on the units, and eventually replacement of the units after the average 15- to 20-year useful life of an elevator. As the largest global OEM, Otis has amassed an installed base under service that exceeds 2 million elevators. It is also integral to Apple&#8217;s future hardware developments, including a&nbsp;smart display set for next&nbsp;year and a tabletop robot&nbsp;thereafter.
Despite its potential, the development of this feature has encountered some hurdles. Engineers are reportedly grappling with ensuring the system is compatible&nbsp;with a sufficient number of&nbsp;apps and can accurately handle high-stakes scenarios, such as those&nbsp;in health or banking apps.
Apple intends to launch the feature alongside a broader Siri infrastructure overhaul in the spring and plans to heavily market it.

Trump on Pelosi's Investments: 'INSIDE INFORMATION,' 'Is Anybody Looking Into This?'

The use of generative AI in online shopping is on the rise, an Adobe Analytics <a href="https://blog.adobe.com/en/publish/2025/03/17/adobe-analytics-traffic-to-us-retail-websites-from-generative-ai-sources-jumps-1200-percent">survey</a> found. The survey, which was released in March, says that retail traffic from generative AI sources has been doubling every two months since last September.
While those numbers are still low when compared to other uses of generative AI, they've been steadily rising since 2024.
Of those polled by Adobe,&nbsp; 39% of respondents said they had used generative AI for online shopping, and 53% planned to do so at some point this year.&nbsp;

The platform aims to make online shopping easier by allowing users to search for items exactly the way they'd describe them to a friend. So instead of searching for something generic like "yellow dress" and then having to comb through thousands of options at varying price points, they can type in "revenge dress to wear to a party in Sicily in July" and get more tailored options.

With over 8,000 brand partners, including major brands like Uniqulo and Gucci, the app is not reliant on ad-based rankings but rather highlights products because they're likely to be a good match for the customer.&nbsp;
<a href="https://www.fitmatch.ai/">Fit:Match</a> is another fashion AI startup in the space. The app uses a patented 3D technology to match users with clothing that flatters their body shapes. It aims to lower return rates by allowing users to see what an item will look like on them before they make a purchase. So far, the platform has <a href="https://unreasonablegroup.com/ventures/fit-match">raised over $15 million in funding</a> and is operating in 52 regions around the world.
Raspberry AI focuses on manufacturers rather than consumers, using generative AI to help brands make better decisions.

Billing itself on its website as "the design assistant you deserve," the app can do everything from gathering and organizing trend research to creating 2D technical drawings and product images. Earlier this year, the company raised over $24 million in first-round funding and has partnered with H&amp;M, Crocs (NASDAQ:<a class="ticker" href="https://www.benzinga.com/stock/CROCS#NASDAQ">CROCS</a>), and Loft.&nbsp;
Daydream founder Julie Bornstein told CNN that it will be startups like these, not the major tech giants, that take AI shopping to the next level.&nbsp;
"They don't have the people, the mindset, the passion to do what needs to be done to make a category like fashion work for (AI) recommendations," Bornstein said. "Because I've been in this space my whole career, what I know is that having the catalogue that has everything and being able to show the right person the right stuff is what makes shopping easier."

As a bonus, you can put the money in a high-yield savings account. That way, the money is growing at a respectable rate while generating risk-free returns.&nbsp;
Yang mentioned that 59% of people cannot pay a $1,000 emergency expense. If you are in that position, you may want to review your monthly expenses and look to put at least $100 per month into an emergency savings account. Picking up a short-term side hustle can also get you to the $1,000 threshold.

Having no high-interest debt is another positive sign that your finances are in a good position. Interest compounds over time, but the compounding is limited if the APR is low. Most people have to take out mortgages to buy homes, and luckily, these financial products have relatively low rates.
Some people run into financial hardships if they don't address their credit card debt. These financial products are notorious for high APRs, especially if you have low credit or recently missed a payment. You may have to make short-term sacrifices like curtailing expenses and working a part-time job to get out of credit card debt. It's better to make short-term sacrifices so you can avoid long-term financial hardships.
<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Not Buying Designer Goods And Status Symbols</h2>
The things you purchase reflect what you think about money. Yang mentioned that it is a good financial sign if you do not have any designer goods or status symbols. These purchases make you look wealthy, but fancy cars and goods don't always equate to wealth.

<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Saving Close To 15% Of Your Gross Income</h2>
Yang wrapped up his four-point checklist by saying that you should save close to 15% of your gross income. Investing money early and often gives it more time to grow.&nbsp;
If you aren't saving 15% of your gross income, you can start with your current percentage and inch it up by at least 1% per year. For instance, if you saved 10% of your gross income last year, aim to save 11% of your gross income this year. You can also boost your percentage by a higher amount if you earn extra money while keeping your living costs intact.&nbsp;
The 15% benchmark is a good starting point, but it's good to aim higher. Saving 20% to 25% of your gross income and putting it in retirement and brokerage accounts can result in a sizable nest egg by the time you retire.

A recent survey of North American CFOs shows a notable shift in attitude <a href="https://www.benzinga.com/money/crypto">when it comes to cryptocurrency,</a> with 99% of CFOs now seeing it playing a role in their business. No, that's not a typo, as massive adoption continues to take place.
The near-term outlook is changing too. According to a Deloitte <a href="https://www.deloitte.com/us/en/insights/topics/business-strategy-growth/2q-2025-cfo-signals-survey.html">survey</a>, nearly a quarter (23%) of CFOs expect their treasury departments to use crypto for payments or investments within the next two years. Among the biggest companies — those with $10B+ in revenue — that number jumps to almost 40%.
This doesn't mean everyone's <a href="https://www.benzinga.com/quote/BTC-USD">jumping into Bitcoin</a>. In fact, price volatility remains the top concern for executives, followed closely by accounting complexity and regulatory uncertainty. Still, there's growing interest in crypto.
So what does this mean for advisors? It's a great reminder that crypto is moving beyond speculative investing and into a more stable environment with institutions and major companies diving in — which should lessen volatility as more business and people adopt it.
There's also a generational layer. Millennials and Gen Z are already comfortable <a href="https://www.benzinga.com/topic/digital-assets">with digital assets.</a> If they see large, established companies legitimizing crypto — especially in everyday business use — that would shift their mindset even faster to making it more part of their lives.
This shift isn't happening overnight. But it is happening. And it's no longer just a tech trend — it's creeping into boardrooms, treasury departments, and enterprise balance sheets.

During the Joe Rogan Experience podcast, which aired August 2024, Thiel dubbed the $2 trillion asset a "pretty big deal" that was "systematically underestimated" in its first 10-11 years.
"It went up smoothly for 10-11 years, didn&#8217;t get repriced all at once," he said. "We are in a world where nothing big ever happens and so we have no way of processing it when something pretty big happens."

<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Is Bitcoin Still Underestimated?</h2>
A lot has changed for Bitcoin since Thiel made these observations.
Donald Trump's re-election and vocal support for Bitcoin spurred optimism and further capital inflows into the apex cryptocurrency. Earlier this year, Trump famously <a href="https://www.benzinga.com/crypto/cryptocurrency/25/06/46148904/donald-trump-says-bitcoin-takes-a-lot-of-pressure-off-the-dollar">said that BTC is helping relieve pressure</a> on the U.S. dollar and that it's "great" for the country.
Trump also <a href="https://www.benzinga.com/25/03/44183572/trump-establishes-strategic-bitcoin-reserve-funded-by-forfeited-assets-i-made-the-promise">signed an executive order</a> to establish a Bitcoin national reserve, funded&nbsp;with BTC seized by the&nbsp;federal government.
Significant progress has also been achieved on the legislative front, with <a href="https://www.benzinga.com/crypto/cryptocurrency/25/07/46484988/us-house-passes-crucial-crypto-bills-from-sec-chair-paul-atkins-to-coinbase-ceo-brian-armstrong-heres-how-everyone-reacted">key cryptocurrency bills</a>, aimed at establishing clear guidelines for the industry, passing in the Congress.
One would think Bitcoin is no longer "underestimated," as Thiel mentioned earlier.
<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Thiel&#8217;s Past Bets On Bitcoin</h2>
Thiel's venture capital firm, Founders Fund, has had a&nbsp;<a href="https://www.benzinga.com/markets/cryptocurrency/24/02/37087400/peter-thiels-founders-fund-bets-big-on-bitcoin-and-ether-with-200m-investment-report#google_vignette" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">significant history with Bitcoin.</a> The fund made $1.8 billion through Bitcoin investments just before the market collapsed in 2022. It then purchased another $100 million in Bitcoin in 2023, when it was trading below $30,000.
Thiel, who still holds some Bitcoin, <a href="https://www.benzinga.com/markets/cryptocurrency/24/07/39569413/billionaire-peter-thiel-voices-skepticism-on-bitcoins-future-growth-im-not-sure-its-going-">expressed regret last year</a> for not purchasing more of the digital currency.

Tom Essaye, founder of Sevens Report, has raised concerns about a potential stock market bubble, driven largely by the artificial intelligence (AI) trade. 
What Happened: Essaye voiced his apprehensions regarding the health of the AI trade. Despite the S&amp;P 500 nearing all-time highs following a 28% rally since April, and a 57% gain since the announcement of ChatGPT in November 2022, the SOX index remains below its July 2024 highs.

According to Essaye, this divergence in performance could signal an unhealthy market rally, largely fueled by the AI narrative. 
He warned that if the SOX index starts to decline significantly, the S&amp;P 500 is likely to follow suit. &#8220;Comparing the index&#8217;s performance to the S&amp;P 500 over the last couple of years shows this bull market in equities has a serious problem,&#8221; he said.
Further signs of a potential bubble include a weakening US economic outlook and poor job gains over the last few months, raising fears of a recession.

Bezos cited Berkshire Hathaway CEO Warren Buffett's minimalist decision-making style as a model: "Warren Buffett says he's good if he makes three good decisions a year," adding, "I make like three good decisions a day."

Take Amazon, for example. This summer, it announced it would be emphasizing performance metrics when it came to evaluating corporate employees going forward, according to internal communication obtained by <a href="https://www.businessinsider.com/amazon-stricter-performance-review-process-leadership-principles-2025-7">Business Insider</a>.&nbsp;

Daniel Newman, CEO of the Futurum Group told the outlet, &#8220;The disruption is real.&#8221; He further noted that service-based businesses with a high headcount are particularly vulnerable, even if they were successful in the previous tech era.
Investors&#8217; defensive stance is reflected in the performance of companies like Wix.com and Shutterstock, which have seen their shares drop by at least 33% in 2025. 
Adobe&#8217;s shares have also fallen by 23% due to fears that clients will turn&nbsp;to AI platforms that can&nbsp;generate images and videos.
According to the Morgan Stanley, the results "added fuel to the AI disruption case," while Baird was left "incrementally concerned AI risks are having an impact."

"Any company where you're paying someone to do something that AI can do faster and cheaper will be wiped out. Think graphic design, administrative work, data-analysis," he added.
