This partnership leverages Google Cloud&#8217;s AI technologies, including its advanced Gemini and LearnLM models, to offer tailored learning experiences that adapt to individual student needs.

They will also scale AI-powered content with tools like Veo and Imagen, ensuring quick, secure access to learning resources.
The collaboration emphasizes responsible AI practices, ensuring that these educational tools are secure, private, and designed with the best interests of students and educators in mind.
As Tara Brady from Google Cloud noted, this partnership is about unlocking AI&#8217;s potential to support personalized learning and equip teachers with the tools needed to inspire students and prepare them for future success.
Price Action: PSO shares were trading higher by 1.04% to $14.62, and GOOG was up 0.40% at $172.70 at last check Thursday.

Pearson Taps Google Cloud AI To Offer Tailored Learning Experiences

Pearson Partners With Google To Accelerate Development Of AI Tools For Students And Educators

Pearson PLC (NYSE:<a class="ticker" href="https://www.benzinga.com/stock/PSO#NYSE">PSO</a>) announced Friday that it will acquire eDynamic Learning, a leading provider of Career and Technical Education (CTE) curriculum solutions, in a move aimed at strengthening its position in <a target="_blank" href="https://www.benzinga.com/pressreleases/25/06/n45924400/pearson-to-acquire-career-and-technical-education-leader-edynamic-learning" rel="noreferrer noopener">the Early Careers education market</a>.
The financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
eDynamic Learning serves over 885,000 students across more than 9,000 K-12 institutions, offering 325 digital courses across 40 career pathways.

The acquisition supports Pearson&#8217;s strategy to expand its career-readiness offerings and meet rising demand for skills-based learning programs.
The deal will be funded through Pearson&#8217;s existing cash reserves and available liquidity, with completion expected in the second half of 2025.
Pearson CEO Omar Abbosh said the acquisition reflects a growing urgency among employers for job-ready talent in an era increasingly shaped by artificial intelligence.
&#8220;Employers tell us they have an urgent need for career-ready workers,&#8221; Abbosh said, adding that the partnership will help address this skills gap.
As demand for workforce-aligned education accelerates, Pearson&#8217;s acquisition positions it to deliver more targeted, scalable solutions for early career learners entering a rapidly evolving job market.
Pearson held cash and cash equivalents of <a target="_blank" href="https://www.benzinga.com/pressreleases/25/02/n44034472/pearson-2024-preliminary-results-unaudited" rel="noreferrer noopener">543 million pounds</a> as of December 31, 2024.

Pearson, Plc (NYSE:<a class="ticker" href="https://www.benzinga.com/stock/PSO#NYSE">PSO</a>) shares are trading higher premarket on Friday after the company disclosed the expansion of its partnership with Amazon Web Services, Inc. <a href="https://www.benzinga.com/pressreleases/25/02/n44034581/pearson-and-aws-announce-collaboration-to-unlock-ai-powered-personalized-learning-for-millions-of-" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">to accelerate AI-driven learning solutions</a>.
This collaboration seeks to enhance the learning experience for millions worldwide by leveraging cloud and AI tools to personalize education and provide real-time insights.
Through this partnership, AWS and Pearson will work together to drive the adoption of technology-driven education, aiming to make learning more effective, efficient, and accessible.
Pearson plans to expand its use of AWS cloud infrastructure and AI capabilities, including Amazon Bedrock, to further optimize and scale its learning products and services, particularly in higher education.
Additionally, Amazon and AWS will strengthen their partnership with Pearson VUE to expand cloud training and credentialing, helping organizations drive productivity and accelerate innovation.
Pearson CEO&nbsp;Omar Abbosh&nbsp;said,&nbsp;&#8220;As technology transforms the way we learn, improving people&#8217;s ability to learn is vital for an adaptive workforce.&#8221;

Also, in a separate release, the company reported underlying sales growth&nbsp;of 3% in FY24, excluding OPM&nbsp;<a target="_blank" href="https://www.benzinga.com/pressreleases/25/02/n44034472/pearson-2024-preliminary-results-unaudited" rel="noreferrer noopener">and the Strategic Review&nbsp;businesses</a>.
Adjusted EPS increased by 7%, while revenue decreased on a Statutory&nbsp;basis.
For 2025, the company expects a positive outlook<a target="_blank" href="https://www.benzinga.com/calendars/guidance" rel="noreferrer noopener"> for&nbsp;2025 in line with market expectations</a>.
Beyond 2025, Pearson expects a mid-single-digit compound annual growth rate (CAGR) in underlying sales, sustained margin improvement with an average increase of 40 basis points per year, and strong free cash flow conversion, averaging <a target="_blank" href="https://www.benzinga.com/earnings" rel="noreferrer noopener">between 90% and 100% over the period</a>.
