The company reported that second-quarter 2025 revenue grew 13% year-over-year to $5.42 billion, beating the consensus of $5.34 billion. Adjusted EPS increased 16% to $12.05, beating the consensus of $10.80.

BlackRock shares gained 2.5% to trade at $1,072.52 on Wednesday.

JPMorgan Chase &amp; Co. (NYSE:<a class="ticker" href="https://www.benzinga.com/stock/JPM#NYSE">JPM</a>) reported better-than-expected second-quarter <a href="https://www.benzinga.com/quote/JPM/earnings">earnings on Tuesday</a>.
JPMorgan Chase reported quarterly earnings of $4.96 per share which beat the analyst consensus estimate of $4.48 per share. The company reported quarterly sales of $45.680 billion which beat the analyst consensus estimate of $44.167 billion.
Jamie Dimon, Chairman and CEO, commented," The U.S. economy remained resilient in the quarter. The finalization of tax reform and potential deregulation are positive for the economic outlook, however, significant risks persist – including from tariffs and trade uncertainty, worsening geopolitical conditions, high fiscal deficits and elevated asset prices. These Analysts Boost Their Forecasts On JPMorgan After Upbeat Q2 Earnings

Volatility surged across interest rate-sensitive assets Wednesday after reports circulated that President Donald Trump may be preparing to remove Federal Reserve Chair Jerome <a href="https://www.benzinga.com/markets/economic-data/25/07/46430675/trump-powell-june-inflation-fed-rate-cuts">Powell from his post.</a> The rumors sparked fears over the Fed's independence, triggering a broad flight to gold and a sell-off in the U.S. dollar.
While Wall Street was mostly flat during midday trading in New York, traders were on edge, digesting the potential implications of a leadership shake-up at the central bank. Speculators are already positioning for a more dovish monetary path, anticipating that Powell&#8217;s possible ouster could accelerate future interest rate cuts.
Gold prices jumped sharply, soaring from $3,325 to over $3,377 per ounce within minutes before paring gains to around $3,350.
Bitcoin (CRYPTO: <a class="ticker" href="https://www.benzinga.com/quote/btc/usd">BTC</a>) rallied 1.2% to $119,000, benefiting from dollar weakness and renewed demand for decentralized assets.
The U.S. dollar index fell 0.3%, on track to snap a four-day winning streak. At the same time, Treasury yields edged slightly lower as bond traders priced in increased political and monetary policy uncertainty.
Economic data released Wednesday added fuel to the rate-cut narrative. The <a href="https://www.benzinga.com/markets/economic-data/25/07/46440481/producer-prices-rise-less-than-expected-inflation">Producer Price Index was flat in June</a>, down from a 0.3% gain in May and below the 0.2% consensus forecast. On a year-over-year basis, producer prices rose 2.3%, the slowest pace since September 2024 and softer than the 2.5% economists had expected.
Core PPI, which excludes volatile food and energy prices, was also unchanged in June. The annual rate dropped to 2.6% from a revised 3.2% in May, falling short of the 2.7% consensus.

In a concurrent private placement, the Company will issue unregistered short-term warrants to purchase up to 641,712 shares of common stock at an exercise price of $4.55 per share that will be immediately exercisable upon issuance and will expire twenty-four months following the effective date of the registration statement covering the resale of the shares of common stock issuable upon exercise of the unregistered short-term warrants. The closing of the offering is expected to occur on or about July 17, 2025 subject to the satisfaction of customary closing conditions.
H.C. Wainwright &amp; Co. is acting as the exclusive placement agent for the offering.
The gross proceeds to the Company from the offering are expected to be approximately $3 million, before deducting placement agent fees and other offering expenses payable by the Company. The potential additional gross proceeds to the Company from the unregistered short-term warrants, if fully-exercised on a cash basis, will be approximately $2.9 million. No assurance can be given that any of such unregistered short-term warrants will be exercised. The Company intends to use the net proceeds from the offering for the repayment of certain outstanding promissory notes and for general working capital purposes.

Shares of pharmaceutical stocks are trading higher after JNJ increased its guidance.

BitMine Immersion Technologies, Inc. (AMEX:<a class="ticker" href="https://www.benzinga.com/stock/BMNR#AMEX">BMNR</a>) shares are trading higher Wednesday after a Schedule 13G filing revealed that FF Consumer Growth, a firm linked to billionaire investor Peter Thiel, has taken a stake in the company.
What To Know: As of July 8, FF Consumer Growth holds a passive 9.1% ownership in BitMine.
On Monday, BitMine said it now holds more than $500 million worth of Ethereum (CRYPTO: <a class="ticker" href="https://www.benzinga.com/quote/eth/usd">ETH</a>) as part of its long-term treasury strategy. The company acquired 163,142 ETH at an average price of $3,072.67.
The company noted it doubled its Ethereum holdings just three days after closing a $250 million private placement, and said its goal is to grow ETH per share through reinvestment, capital markets activity, and staking.
